Why is India even growing cotton? Hemp is a much more dynamic and durable fiber, requires no pesticides, can be grown much more densely, removes only cellulose and water from the earth, and has very useful natural byproducts.

@AlmightyJerk I'm a farmer, I've grown organic, and GMO crops. I've done plenty of research, trust me, if GMO's were banned tomorrow, it would condem BILLIONS to death by starvation. Organic crops are not as hearty a crop. Organic crops would not yeild enough to feed the world population as is. Currently organic, non-hybrid seed makes up less then 1% of the entire seed market.
