@OverdrivenMan It's similar to a Gibson neck. It is somewhat wider. Also, compared to a gibson, there is slightly more tension on the strings, due to the guitar having a "string-thru" bridge, and a longer headstock. Overall, this is a comfortable guitar to play if you are use to a Gibson.
...and then he ends it all with a typical Greg Howe solo that many try to emulate but can never equal.....absolutely soulful and singing...he is truly gifted.
Exactly...Soldano88 I'm sure those are really good quality guitars but with a player like Greg.....it could be a rubber band and spoons and he'd sound incredible......LOL
Are there seperate outputs for the magnetic and piezo pickups?
I loved the sound of the clean and less saturated stuff he played with the mini-HB's.
It doesn't seem likely that he'd get as nice an "acoustic" sound as he did by running straight into the same amp he did for the other sounds. I'm thinking there had to be a preamp of some sort involved.
the problem is the guitar company gives the artist one of their best guitars expensive ones to show off..then when it comes to the cheap thery'r really cheAP guitars
Well I am sold on the Parkwood. It takes a good eye and ear to find a good one. And it takes a good amp to use it to it's full potential. Parkwood guitars aren't as cheap as you make them seem.
lol why does people give this comment a thumb down? It is true! Why else would Parkwood be such a small brand on the electric market? I bet not 1 out of 100 users, who says this guitar is amazing, is REALLY gonna buy one.
By the way, I don't think this guitar does any of the sound amazingly good. It is the guitarist, that makes it sound fantastic. Just my opinion.
Parkwood is a Guitar Center only brand. Their parent company is Cort, who's well known. Unfortunately, Parkwood guitars are made in Korea and this is why most people won't buy them even though they play amazingly well and have great tones.
Have you ever sat down to play a Parkwood? I know that it is a Guitar Center only brand, but my GOT... they all play incredibly and sound just as good. Sorry to see GC drop the line however :(
Greg Howe is one truly amazing musician. I have not really heard of much but htis brilliant. So musical and very versatile from hard screaming shredding/ rock stuff to the acoustic and even jazz!!!
The best way to show the versatility of a guitar, get a versatile player. Greg is the man for this one. He knows how to shred as well as how to NOT shred.
Damn...not only is Greg the perennial shredder of our day, but he is one hell of an articulate salesman. He explained this guitar and demo'd it better than most sales people at NAMM ever could. Most excellent!
i bought this guitar before christmas for 30 dollars at GC because the neck was broken, then i sent it to parkwood and had the neck repaired for free so i basically got it for 30 dollars. It's an awesome guitar, I love it, im going to use it for my school's jazz band's performance next week!
Guys...I know you're all going to be jealous...but I just went into guitar center and bough an h4 for three hundred bucks because of a flaw in the lacquer on the back of the guitar. Couldn't freakin' believe it.
guitar sounds great, but for those who don't play guitar...no you don't play that good if you get that guitar, greg howe is just the god of guitar thats all...
Does it have a stereo output jack? I've got a parker with a powerbridge and you can split the signals and send the acoustic signal straight to the PA or to a separate amp.
he can probably play a made in china squier and sound just as good

Someone can tell me something about the neck of this guitar?
Is it something like a Gibson neck?
I want to buy this guitar, but there is no one to try in Italy...

Agreed. A great guitarist can make a bad guitar sound good just as a bad guitarist can make a great guitar sound bad.
