  • he can probably play a made in china squier and sound just as good

  • THE IMPROVISATION AT THE END IS AWESOME !!!!! GREG YOU ROCK"!!!

  • what is the name of that song @ 0:08

  • @treyguy09 That is one of my favorite songs by Greg entitled "Quiet Hunt" on the "Five" album.

  • Someone can tell me something about the neck of this guitar?

Is it something like a Gibson neck?

I want to buy this guitar, but there is no one to try in Italy...

  • @OverdrivenMan It's similar to a Gibson neck. It is somewhat wider. Also, compared to a gibson, there is slightly more tension on the strings, due to the guitar having a "string-thru" bridge, and a longer headstock. Overall, this is a comfortable guitar to play if you are use to a Gibson.

  • ...and then he ends it all with a typical Greg Howe solo that many try to emulate but can never equal.....absolutely soulful and singing...he is truly gifted.

  • Can anyone PLEASE TELL ME IF THERE EXISTS A RECORDING OF THE SONG THING HE PLAYED AT 2:18!!! That simple acoustic part is so beautiful to my ears....

  • In the background, that has to be the coolest tele ever amirite?

  • Exactly...Soldano88 I'm sure those are really good quality guitars but with a player like Greg.....it could be a rubber band and spoons and he'd sound incredible......LOL

    but it's all good...........

  • Are there seperate outputs for the magnetic and piezo pickups?

I loved the sound of the clean and less saturated stuff he played with the mini-HB's.

It doesn't seem likely that he'd get as nice an "acoustic" sound as he did by running straight into the same amp he did for the other sounds. I'm thinking there had to be a preamp of some sort involved.

    Sounded great.

  • Wowww! Beaytiful sound!!!!!

  • Hearing that acoustic tone after that electric tone blew me away. Beautiful.

  • I think piezo bridges sound better in hollow body electrics

  • I WANT ONE~~~

  • wuts insane is not just that the guitar pull off every guitar sound but he can keep up with it and play EVERY GENRE EXISTENT

  • Fuck, that sounded just like a real acoustic at 2:15

  • different tones sound great..impressive

  • Man i hate you!!! You are soooo GOOOOOOD!!!

  • Testa suada!!!

    Greg é um mosntrooooo

  • Definitely one of my biggest inspirations..

    And hey, beautiful socks too!

  • the problem is the guitar company gives the artist one of their best guitars expensive ones to show off..then when it comes to the cheap thery'r really cheAP guitars

  • Well I am sold on the Parkwood. It takes a good eye and ear to find a good one. And it takes a good amp to use it to it's full potential. Parkwood guitars aren't as cheap as you make them seem.

  • lol why does people give this comment a thumb down? It is true! Why else would Parkwood be such a small brand on the electric market? I bet not 1 out of 100 users, who says this guitar is amazing, is REALLY gonna buy one.

By the way, I don't think this guitar does any of the sound amazingly good. It is the guitarist, that makes it sound fantastic. Just my opinion.

  • Parkwood is a Guitar Center only brand. Their parent company is Cort, who's well known. Unfortunately, Parkwood guitars are made in Korea and this is why most people won't buy them even though they play amazingly well and have great tones.

  • Agreed. A great guitarist can make a bad guitar sound good just as a bad guitarist can make a great guitar sound bad.

  • Have you ever sat down to play a Parkwood? I know that it is a Guitar Center only brand, but my GOT... they all play incredibly and sound just as good. Sorry to see GC drop the line however :(

  • Listen to Gentle Hearts!!!

  • Wow! I didn't know Greg Howe was so versatile!

  • he's the best

  • This is funny because Greg Howe could play any guitar and it would sound good!

  • greg's awesome

  • Greg Howe is one truly amazing musician. I have not really heard of much but htis brilliant. So musical and very versatile from hard screaming shredding/ rock stuff to the acoustic and even jazz!!!

  • The best way to show the versatility of a guitar, get a versatile player. Greg is the man for this one. He knows how to shred as well as how to NOT shred.

  • Anybody know anywhere in the US that sells the hybrid? Guitar Center only has the acoustics and A/E's.

  • ive actually seen a couple of these at GC but that was a while ago. u can ask them to order one for u

  • hes a damnned good advertisement boy

    and player too

  • why does greg doesnt want to use ibanez?! me too if I have the chance and chioces.I would probably pick-up esp or one of those HM strats...

  • Is that Fender Telecaster where's floydr. and humbucker at bridge? I've seen those made by Charvel but not Fender.

  • yeah thats an insane guitar. and it is a fender too

  • awesome. listen to those chops

  • does anyone know the title of the song

    he's playing at the end?

  • according to the comment below hes playing "extraction"

  • I got goosebumps when he suddenly started soloing over it

  • Hell yes brother.

  • i prefer his ESPs

  • master god and lord of guitar, so good man

  • At this point, we all know that the guitar does not matter. The issue here is gregs magic.

    Best of both worlds ;)

  • oh my god! he's playing extraction at the end!! this has got to be fusion at one of its best moments!!

    Greg Howe for president!

  • Very nice guiar and superb playing; his playing basicallt fits the description he gives of the guitar: amazing man.

  • the solo at the end never ceases to impress, to put me in wonder, greg howe is the best!

  • I just bought a Parkwood Hybrid H2

and the tone is so dripping sweet,

    not to mention the versatility.

It sounds just like this video with

    my VOX Tonelab LE.

I was suprised to get some hard rock/metal

    tones as well. smooth neck.

  • Love your music, the absolute master! ! Support you!

  • Damn...not only is Greg the perennial shredder of our day, but he is one hell of an articulate salesman. He explained this guitar and demo'd it better than most sales people at NAMM ever could. Most excellent!

  • i bought this guitar before christmas for 30 dollars at GC because the neck was broken, then i sent it to parkwood and had the neck repaired for free so i basically got it for 30 dollars. It's an awesome guitar, I love it, im going to use it for my school's jazz band's performance next week!

  • 2:15 - 2:30.......it sounds beautiful

  • Great job of explaining waht this guitar will do fo you, & of course great display of music by an amazing player to boot!

  • I, WANT!!!

  • Sounds good to me!

  • so beauty!!!!

here in Brasil we dont have this guitar.:(

  • well you CAN become as good as greg if you practice a lot lol

  • Sounds like a good Home Studio guitar. Won't have to keep changing guitars so much.

  • Guys...I know you're all going to be jealous...but I just went into guitar center and bough an h4 for three hundred bucks because of a flaw in the lacquer on the back of the guitar. Couldn't freakin' believe it.

  • GC will bargain with you like that.

  • guitar sounds great, but for those who don't play guitar...no you don't play that good if you get that guitar, greg howe is just the god of guitar thats all...

  • *SOLD*

Haha! Greg is the man. He's got the sales attitude down as well as the insane skills. What a legend. NEED a hybrid now! =oD

  • Does anybody know how much these are going for?

  • Used around 600.. new maybe 750-800?

  • I was just in Guitar Center the other day, and I got the chance to demo one.

The listing price, according to GC, is $999.00 new.

  • yea me too

  • now i want a parkwood hybird, thank you for doin this ad

  • the solo at the ending part is so beautiful...

  • i recently purchased this guitar in america and brought it back to the u.k

its the best guitar ive seem ever!!!!

  • Does it have a stereo output jack? I've got a parker with a powerbridge and you can split the signals and send the acoustic signal straight to the PA or to a separate amp.

  • It has one output jack but its TRS so you can use a stereo 1/4 inch cable and split the acoustic signal to where you would like. Excellent!

  • great, you are the best and great guitar

  • thanx for post, greg is the man!

  • Sweet playing as ever Greg!... looks and sounds a cool guitar! :-)

  • oh man sweet video and awesome playing! That guitar looks amazing!
