@kcam04 Ford only made the Base Model, GT's and The SVT line (Cobras, Shelby Gt500). The rest you named are aftermarket brands who offer production cars based off of the Ford Mustang. And seeing as how each of the aftermarket brands offers different "levels" or trims you cant really quantify or pick which one is best. It's all preference. And your brother has basically a base 4 cylinder Fox Body, still very cool cars though.

@bodebldr2000 Its a combination of things.. exhaust, mufflers, im sure he has headers. but also you can do straight pipes and theres different types of mufflers and setups. it gets expensive haha.

In a centrifugal supercharger setup, you have gears driving a turbine that sucks air in, compresses it, and sends it to the intake, on a roots style blower, you have big honkin rotors that spin in a housing together that compress the air. The roots style blowers tend to be louder, but quite a few of the centrifugals are loud also, due to straight cut gears

@The1FastGP you can always boost a stock motor, as long as you dont go more then 8psi and proper tune along with new spark plugs, and keep it at a conservative 5 to 6 psi..now if you want more boost, like say 12 to 15 PSI, your gonna need to build your bottom end, forged pistons, crank, seals, rods, etc.. Also more boost means you need more fuel to combust properly, so bigger fuel injectors, as far as camming, thats for more power but isnt needed when boosting your motor.. Dont forget a tune..

If you want that much power, i would rebuild the entire Motor, with low compression forged pistons, new forged crank, all new seals, head studs, bolts, forged rod, new double springs, shorter valves and new lifers for a bigger cam, then get your SC, intake manifold, and heads all ported and polished.. You need a good 17psi from your SC to make a strong 400 to 500 to the wheels. New headers, and 3inch exhaust. Probably 42lbs fuel injectors, 255 fuel pump..alot of work.
