Beautiful. What video ratio is this in? It's obviously not 4:3 but doesn't quite look like the way my Sony Cybershot HX widescreen video comes out like.
Great demo. I just bought an HX1 today. Do you suggest I shoot 720 for youtube high definition? What do you think is the difference between the Hi Def modes? Is there a special way to load the hi def on youtube? Thank you for your thoughts.
Thank you. I have been experimenting with the camera on the Oregon coast. It is amazing! Really like the zoom with optical stabilization. I am not sure what you mean about "flate" do you mean flat? Is it different on the higher resolution settings? Rick.
how many minutes is allowed to cover via video using that cam?

I think 720 is fine enough though it looks somehow " flate ".
You do not have to choose any special setting when uploading to youtube. Youtube will automatically recogniz the video as HD mode.
Thanks for your comment and hope you enjoy the camera.

One more question... what do you use for your movie-making? Nice job. Is the cloud and grass effects done with fast motion after you took the video?

Rick, I use "Power Director" to edit the video. It's a software by CyberLink..... Daniel

Great video! Has this video been recorded in Full-HD (1080i ?) or 720p mode?
Does the HX1 record 720p-videos with the same codec like 1440x1080 videos?
I heard video quality is better in 720p mode because of no interlaced stretched pixel format.
PAPPL1978 2 years ago
Yep, it's 720p mode. My experience, it seems higher resolution has little improvement. But the film of 720p looks somehow " flate".
Thanks for your visit and comment.
