Very beautiful! I remember seeing the movie when it came out and was really moved with all the emotions it brings forth. I even bought this very album when Mancini first came out with it. Beautiful music. Tks.
I was born and raised in the coal regions of Pennsylvania but I left over 45 years ago. I am not sorry I left, but I am sorry the area didn't prosper because the people are truly nice people.
this was my aunt & uncle's wedding song more than 30 years ago; at the time my aunt had a heck of a time finding this anywhere, but she did eventually. Beautiful piece of music.
I recommending reading "In Search of the Molly Maguires" by Patrick Campbell, grand-nephew of Alex Campbell. A fascinating read, as he tries to clear the name of his wrongfully convicted and executed great uncle Alex.
My mother name is Kehoe. My grandfather's name was John Kehoe. He lived in Philadelphia, spent a lot of time away from home, and was a contemporary of Black Jack.
A beautiful & haunting theme by the great Mr. Mancini. We need to appreciate our film & tv music composers more. Henry Mancini, John Williams, Bill Conti, James Horner, David Shire & of course, Jerry Goldsmith, to name a few.
What a pretty tune. So many synchronicities in my life around this movie! My daughter Molly is the biggest. I posted that story under the trailer video. Also, Henry Mancini wrote the theme to "Mr. Lucky," a TV show starring John Vivyan, who was a close personal friend of my late mother.
I live in northeast pennsylvania, and not far from where this movie was filmed. It's a proud heritage to have. When I was little my dad used to hum this theme song to me. Thanks for posting it!

PA has a strong history of devotion. We gave up more war dead through the years, than any other state in the Union.
Irish or German, it just proves that PA boys are fighters.

Sean Commery considere The Molly MaGuirres" one of his best movies. His people were miners; therefore, it was important for him to make this movie.
