  • I think you forgot the psychological portion of this lifestyle change. Perhaps you hadn't purposed in your MIND that you were going to change. Lifestyle changes start first in your mind.

  • @QueenThrisa I was replying to many different people who have no clue what health is, yea eating fruits and vegetables is an unbalanced diet, fresh juices are bad for you, yada yada... but I'm the idiot right? Makes perfect sense.

You are not the authority on what is or is not appropriate. I tell people the truth, not my fault you're all cunts who like to eat too much.

  • I think your positivity is inspiring. Failure is not having tried at all, and giving up all together. You'll get there, Chica. People on youtube can be mean. Thank you for sharing your stories with us!

  • You're probably unhappy with yourself for gaining weight, but I think you look healthier here than at the end of your fast. You seemed spacey, confused, almost drunk. In this one you are much more grounded. I don't think consuming nothing but juice or even whole fruits and vegetables is healthy for everyone.

  • damn your tits look great! You have a lucky man to see them in the bedroom! You turn me on at this weight! But get healthy girl it's better for you. Just don't lose your nice boobies!

  • Tits.

  • wouldn't have happened if you had gone vegan

  • @Lauxesa

Donuts and french fries are vegan, it's possible to be a fat and unhealthy vegan.

  • @bluemystic7502 wow you got me lil genius

  • @bluemystic7502

I'm pretty sure donuts and french fries are fried in animal fat. So no, you wouldn't be eating those things if you were a vegan.

  • @davidf35

These days, they're fried in vegetable fats. Regardless, vegan doesn't equal health. You can still be vegan and eat like crap.

  • @bluemystic7502

    I agree.

  • Well your breasts look great :)

  • i think you eat a plate of food and then the juice lol

  • What is your intention? 100 day raw? Then what? Back to where you are now? Make a life change, do not eat processed toxic fake food ever again. Eat whole organic real food. This is the key to being well. Eat food as close to nature as possible. It is that simple. Eat toxic food;have a toxic life.Health,Happiness & Much Love

  • @wethesheeple1 Good day my friends. We would like to invite you all to "like" & "share" our FB page WeTheSheeple1. There are so many unaware of all the harmful toxins in processed fake food. All the suffering and disease is so unnecessary. Help turn Sheeple back into Human Beings.

    Health, Happiness & Much Love

  • Hey - came across your video as I am considering doing the 30 day fast.... You shared a lot of personal and real stuff - good for you and Thanks! Best to you in your upcoming venture. I am considering starting this Friday. My brother has done over 30 days - has done great, so I'm going to see if he'll be my mentor, but would love to connect with others as well.

  • Check into going straight Raw foods when coming off a juice fast. Don't think of adding meat back in til 30 days after that.

  • U doing great so dont worry about it I know you will do great oim on my 2nd day fast and I il

  • "Good on ya, mate." -Joe Cross

  • Kudos to you for posting this and retrying!!

I am giving up smoking AGAIN.. feel more serious about it than i have ever been and now doing veggie jucing fast for three weeks and then Juicing and eating healthy without Juicing...? Hope this works out girl! cos I feel better already

  • When you go on a juice fast, you cannot cut calories. If you cut calories on the juice fast you will binge and balloon afterward. Even a water fast is not an effective method for weight loss. If you lived on green smoothies you would lose weight faster than on a water fast.

Run 2 miles a day 4 days per week, drink a half gallon of water per day, sleep 8 hours, cut out salt, oil, avocados, nuts, seeds, meat(including fish) and dairy. Easier said than done, but it works every time.

  • I am glad you posted this video. It is important for us newbies to know we need a plan after the juice fast.

  • OH, as well with most diets and exercise there needs to be a cheat day (excluding DURING fasts). This will help reduce cravings as well, because you still get what you REALLY want atleast once a week. However, you still want to stay aware of what you're eating. A cheat day doesn't necessarily mean 10 burgers, it could be extra fruit and a sandwhich or lean chicken etc depending what you're doing after the fast etc. Just noticed date being years ago, so how was your luck actually! xD

  • With exception to the last few days, where for some reason, you developed the insatiable feeling. Personally, just diving into this I removed any chance for error ( at least within the household ) I have what I need for the juicing - and that's it. Just an opinion, and I wish you the very best with the next fast.

  • I'd have to agree with embalyst. It's also mentioned multiple times in "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" (for example) that if you're going to do something like this, atleast with the intentions of reseting your system and continuing after that it has to be a LIFESTYLE change. Which would mean outside of just diet differentiations, there'd have to be physical adjustments as well. Furthermore, one can't really deam the 'fast' a failure, when there's poor follow up. The fast accomplished what meant to

  • I THINK YOU ARE VERY POWERFUL PERSON....AND EVERY EXPERIENCE IN LIFE IS A LEARNING LESSON....I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST.

  • I think you need more support by finding people who are in your shoes. You know yoyoing is dangerous. Good for you about the cig thing. Don't know if you enjoy alcohol too but it's all about moderation. Cleansing is important and challenging. Good luck in your journey. Get friends who will support you righteously.

  • you look beautiful both ways to be honest.

  • Don't forget to eat protein (lean clean meat) after juice fasting. And exercise (at least fast walking) during and after fasting.

  • @skm61 Or ditch the meat all together and eat more vegetables, fruit and starch. :)

  • I have been snacking on Frozen mixed veggies and eating apples and popcorn. Lettuce and cabbage and fat free salad dressing and veggie juice and fish. Tried an Avocado chilled with fat free salad dressing ..different ..... no bread no red meat or very little

  • Hi hopefully you have got back on track x I have juiced for about 3years and to be honest i just started incorparating it into my diet and after a year or so i realised i had started eating alot better recently i read Eat to Live which was really motivating after having a baby i have managed to lose weight eating as much healthy nutritious food as i want and exsercising i lost 18 pounds in 3wks eating lots of food best wishes x

  • Don't try to pick yourself up all at once. Your ass looks like you could break your back. No offense.

  • @4520dean You absolutely meant to be offensive. Don't hide behind a lie like saying "no offense."

  • Sorry people are picking on you. Your honest, real and normal. Glad your trying again and not giving up. I think you look fantastic already. Good luck.

  • Comment removed

  • @4520dean you realize this video was posted nearly 2 years ago, right?

  • Most bodybuilders on a perfect diet can only gain 1lb a week and thats not ONLY muscle. You on the other hand gained 45 fucking lbs in a short amount of time. Anyone who knows and who has ever been an athlete realizes you are a pig, you clearly ate fast food or did nothing but hog down pizza and hohos.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to gain a solid healthy 45 lbs?

You ate healthy, got healthier, stopped then gained a small pig around waist. And I should listen to you? Eat dick.

  • Think about what you're saying, you lost weight and were healthy on a simple juice fast, then got fat when you got off it. I wonder why?

Try eating a raw food diet, then come back to me. Until then you are still an overweight hog who thinks she knows better based on extreme lack of experience. You're a fool. It's as simple as that, you're a fool.

Mac Danzig sure looks like he doesn't get any fat or protein in his diet.

I look at him, I look at you. I shake my head in wonder.

  • I take that all back, you're right, you're a cow, you have more stomachs than I do, you can digest that shit. My bad!

  • You morons need to educated yourself on protein and biology, learn to fucking figure shit out for yourself. The logic you people follow is silly, I need protein, omg, im going to die! Meanwhile you neglect HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of nutrients from plants because you need your protein! Meanwhile, you also get plenty of protein from plants. You continue on being fat and unable to walk a flight of stairs, i'll eat my plants and continue never being tired, never being sick, etc.. Thats reality.

  • juice fasting is a good thing I have done a 40 day juice fast which was supervised as in I had my bowel collapse and had to wait for a surgery so don't listen to people saying it is not a good thing to do go and get doctor colberts teachings on juice fasting he is a quality teacher...afterwards follow the mediteranian food diet and never fast more than one time a year at that length of an interval....

  • Can't wait to try this

  • Try eating only meat and vegetables and no sugar for 28 days. Drinking juice for 28 days is fucking stupid. You might as well drink coke for 28 days. Who in their right mind thinks it is good to live for a month on nothing but sugar? Steve Jobs lived on fruit juice and HE IS DEAD OF PANCREATIC CANCER!

  • I am about to start juicing and i wanted to say thank you for posting this. I can relate. Im glad that you we very honest about your weight gain and i hope that you can get back to a happy weight. If you have any advice please feel free to message me. :)

  • No toxins in your body (if your liver/kidney is working), toxins = marketing scam.

You cannot reset your system (unless you are a computer) -> fasting will force your body to conserve energy, it decreases muscle mass -> it lowers your metabolism -> once you start eating normal again your body is going to plump up -> it's going to make fat reserves for future starving-periods.

    HOW DO IT RIGHT:

    -reduce sugar & salt,

    -increase protein & fiber

    -eat slow

    -do muscle workout

    -do 20min afternoon naps

  • @unamaxify Of course, giving your body all the micronutrients in large amounts it needs means you will be unhealthy, lower muscle mass, yada yada... "plump up"... you mean, people who are fat to begin with and do nothing but a juice fast and then go back to being the typical fat person they were they will gain weight.

Of course, toxins in the body is a marketing scam, by who? You're an idiot. Keep up the good work!

I bet you believe the NWO is behind "the toxin myth" eh? Foolishness.

  • @ACLogikel

if your liver and your kidneys are working you don't need any detoxing

-> the need for detoxing is a myth propagated by ignorant people over and over again.

Doing a juice fast would NOT help detoxing even if your liver/kidneys failed.

    -

If you starve your body-> your body will reduce its energy consumption by loosing muscle -> by the time you start eating again you will get even fatter than before because you lower muscle mass will burn less energy -> left over energy->fat

  • @unamaxify Indeed, eating massive amounts of fruits and vegetables is starving yourself. Makes sense. Dumb shit.

  • @ACLogikel

Yes it is, eating only vegetables and fruit is starving yourself.

It basically is reducing your diet to sugar and fiber, you deprive your body of protein -> which will rapidly decrease your muscle mass(faster weight gaining) and reduce cell regeneration (faster aging)

Further more you would deprive yourself of certain essential fatty acids which are important for brain-function, immune response, metabolic regulation, and cell-formation.

-> Doing a fast = really stupid idea

  • @unamaxify You're intelligent, deprive myself of protein on a plant diet? Do you even know what protein is? Meat is not the only protein source, plants, every single one of them, has protein. Learn. Shut up. Live. Not to mention all the plant sources for essential fats and healthier than animal fat.

Lets see, get ONLY protein and some b vitamins from a bunch of meat, OR get thousands of enzymes and hundreds of minerals and vitamins from just ONE fruit or vegetable.

  • @unamaxify Do you ever wonder why people continue to say America is in an epidemic? Those people eat meat, lots of it, and little fruits and vegetables. "basically just sugar and fiber", when in reality each plant contains thousands of enzymes, hundreds of minerals and vitamins. When meat is just, protein? What would you prefer, a food that gives all protein and nutrients needed, or something that just gives you just protein? There is a reason the more plants you eat the healthier you get.

  • @ACLogikel

Your argument is a straw-man, you're not fooling anybody

I'm advocating a balanced diet, you on the other-hand are not (fruit & vegetables is a one sided diet -> lacks fat & protein -> can cause horrible indigestion because of too much raw fiber)

humans evolved as omnivores eating meat is part of a healthy diet

Face it: juice fast & all that other new age crap is pointless pseudo science

Only a long term well balanced diet in combination with exercise results in good health

  • @unamaxify It's not a one sided diet, prove to me how a diet that contains all nutrients you are supposed to get is a one sided diet? Because you miss your french fries and burger? Get over yourself, get educated, then talk.

One of my favorite things to eat is walnuts, lacks fat and protein eh?

    Ever had almond milk?

    Kale?

I get more nutrients in one meal than you do in an entire month. There is a reason I never had to lose weight, I didn't get fat to begin with. Dumb shit.

  • @ACLogikel

Your 're obviously no longer interested in a honest debate

or else you wouldn't insinuate that I had advocated eating burger and fries.

you're straw-man-ing me & attacking me personally because you're out of arguments,

you're acting like a religious person defending an irrational believe or ideology.

It is an exercise in futility to further talk to you, because there obviously is no brain (metaphorically spoken) there only is reflex behavior.

I wish you well& Good riddance!

  • @unamaxify To be out of arguments I would have had to lose the first one eh? Didn't happen. You ate healthy and got healthier, you stopped eating healthy and got fat, so you blamed it on eating healthy. You make perfect sense.

  • @unamaxify Not to mention you keep replying to me without responding to the actual content of my comment but with the same "straw maning me" silliness.

    1. You ate healthy, got healthy

    2. You stopped eating healthy

    3. You gained 45 lbs aftering stopping

    4. You blame eating healthy on gaining weight

    5. 45 lbs is very hard to gain, only logical conclusion is you ate like a pig

Take your excuses someplace else. Everyone knows what and how to be healthy and maintain weight. Plant based!

  • @ACLogikel Ya...I bet she had eclaires under her bed and shit.

  • @ACLogikel I don't know if you are addressing the person who made this video, but your clearly ignorant statements from someone who seemingly just stepped out of a freshmen critical thinking course, really should stop. She was not blaming the diet on her weight gain at all and clearly owned up to eating unhealthy for seven months. I say good for her!! She fell off the wagon and is getting back up and that takes courage and character! :-)

  • @ACLogikel also, I want to add that she was not eating healthy (as you stated in number 1), she was drinking juices. I think her new approach is much healthier and wise. It may take some time to see the improvements she wants, but it's more likely to stick with her.

  • @QueenThrisa Understand what a juice is before you talk, a FRESH vegetable or fruit juice is not unhealthy, don't pretend the word juice is bad because stores sell shit. Learn, live, and shut the fuck up.

  • @ACLogikel wow, you sound really intelligent! I was implying that it was an unbalanced diet. Perhaps if you want people to listen and learn from your side of a debate you should try being polite. The approach you are taking is evoking negativity and cruelty. You get in life what you put out. I have seen the language that you have used with this poster (using the *C* word) and it is absolutely inappropriate. I wish you the best in life.

  • @ACLogikel I agree with QueenThrisa on this. I do not think that you actually watched the video because everything that you said is so off base, it's unreal. If you DID watch the video and that is what you took out of it, well, then... I am at a loss. Your version of reality is so off kilter, you need help dissecting a situation to discover fact.

  • @ACLogikel And let me be clear about one thing (before you go off on another 7th grade temper tantrum like you did on QueenThrisa below): I am a thin, healthy, raw and organic eating young lady who respects the integrity and courage that others show in at least giving it a go and have the wherewithal to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and start all over again.

  • @unamaxify My point about bodybuilders is they eat lots of meat, lots of veggies, lots of fruits and STILL take a LONG time to gain 45lbs. Athletes know what it takes to gain that weight, in order to get FAT you ate like a pig, simple.

And I gave you an example of someone who is 100% vegan and he sure looks like he is protein difficent eh? Did you even bother to look at Mac Danzig? I could spend all day showing you vegans that look like greek gods. So take your BS and stick it cunt.

  • I admire the willpower to go 28 days on the juice fast - but what a shame you wasted the effort by going back to eating "unhealthy" as you said. Sounds like next time you'll do it right - good luck

  • Well said and good on you for your candor and intelligent discussion on this. I was watching David Wolfe the other days and he said something that stuck with me. He was talking about being perfect and just doing the best that we can and adapting things that work for us day by day. It makes it more approachable I think. Giver'hell!

  • Made my eyes leak, I'm in this too. I'm going for 60 days, but the advantage I have, I am retired, so I can have an environment that is beneficial to me. I'm with ya girl!

  • So glad you are sharing...you inspire=)

  • I appreciate your honesty and willingness to share!

  • Your cute.

  • WHO CARES? Who are you anyway?

  • @dasteannie u care enough to comment chump

  • Comment removed

  • You're sexy now. I actually thought this was the finished product. Dont change baby

  • I am watching your video and I read the other comments too.

A diet it is hard to follow, to stay true to it. You saying after the 28 days(only?) you tried to get back to healthy foods? what healthy food? tons of meat, potatoes, these are not healthy fruits. When you go back to SOLID foods you have to start to solid veggies, raw, then a little steamed. But the juice should still be a constant in your daily regimen. Introduce exercise, recommend Aeropilates, gets you started.

  • all that weight gain went to your breasts so it's ok

  • @GonsteadLover I agree. They are very nice.

  • I wonder if this lady incorporates exercising? It's probably one of the best way to lose wieght and to maintain your weight.. I mean it's very difficult to not eat only good types of food. It's better to eat a little bit of foods that you like and burn it off thorugh exercising.. It's better than depriving oneself for 28 days! It's just not realistic!

  • I just quit smoking four weeks ago today. My body was so inflamed that I was in pain constantly. I did the same thing with my last long fast. I fasted 21 days, lost 20 pounds, but then broke my fast by getting drunk and going back to bad habits. You're right though, you can't let your desire and will be broken by mistakes. You just have to climb back on the horse and ride, it's like you said, it's just like quitting smoking. Food is an addiction just like everything else. Bravo.

  • The only failure is the failure to try again. In sharing this story of your challenges you have not only shown a lot of emotional maturity, you gave the rest of us permission to fair and try again. I commend you on your brave choice to go public with your struggles. I'm rootin' for you!

  • Emotional eater...... fail u fail

  • Emosional eater........fail...u fail. Dumbass!

  • @26max nice typo -- look at yourself before you call others dumbasses -- just sayin'.

  • your preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • After you fast you cant start eating cheeseburgers and ice cream.

  • You need a healthy male partner in your life... Some one that will chase you around the bedroom, kitchen, laundry room etc...

  • Comment removed

  • Not trying to be critical, but trying to be helpful here. I'm not sure where you first heard of juice fasting, but I heard of it while watching the documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead." He did juice fasting followed by healthy eating just like you're discussing. However, he also added exercise to his lifestyle, and that's something I didn't hear you mention. Have you considered doing that?

  • @embalyst Love that documentary!

  • I saw you with the weight off...and with it on... as long as you can eat healthy moving forward the weight shouldn't bother you as much. I like you with the weight....you're a cutie. =]

  • You sound so much like me! I am shopping for a juicer now and want to have money left over to buy the fruits & veggies to put in it! Do you have a recommendation?

  • The reason you gained weight was because you started eating "wrong" and unhealthy foods.

  • Pizza?? BigMac?? Silly -

  • thanX

    for sharing your experiences.

have also a look on the scientiest "Max Gearson" (gearson therapy !!!).

He succeeded also with an raw food diet in hospitals

and could heal so many people.

Vegan Raw and green juices are the best for health, mind and a long life.

By the way: You are total symphatic and pretty :)

  • so did u lose any weight? if yes how much ?

  • stop eating twinkies!!!!

  • Life is trial and error, there are no failures, only positive or negative feedback,so don't be discouraged, but healthy foods and juicing need to be a lifestyle if you want lasting results.

Processed foods are the enemy, especially GMO's.

  • The title should be changed. It made me think you gained weight due to the juicing.

At least you are not giving up. Good luck!

  • I just ordered a juicer and looking to try this. I've always had issues with my weight regardless of my activity level (what can I say, I love food). This is the first time I've ever done something like this so my goal is at first to make it ten days. At day ten I'll re-evaluate and then decide if I want to do another 10 days. My hope is to make it 60 days in total. I'm not planning to become a vegan, but I need to make some radical changes to my eating habits and I'm hoping this will help.

  • After juicing for health and weight loss purposes, the ideal would be to transition to a fully raw vegan diet when the juice "fasting" is completed. If you go back to animal protein (of any kind) and processed foods you will gain weight again, be less healthy. Juicing should be a permament part of your diet in a permanent basis, combined with raw fruits, vegetables, grains and legumes. (IMHO)

  • I think you look better with the extra 45 lbs.

  • thats good that you are going to start over the good thing now is that you can learn from your mistakes and better your self

  • Are you a member of Reboot community? ( jointhereboot )

If not, it may help ya! :)

You can do it...just keep your honesty (what a great thing) and focus on your goal!

    You go girl! :)

  • You go Girl!

    You can do it!

  • Get back on the juice diet Fatty.

  • @MyBarry2009 OK look I am tired of these fucking troll's and shit. Look if you think bad shit about people on the video's or the video. DON"T WATCH IT> dumb ass!

  • @MyBarry2009 real mature. What are you, like 8?

  • @MyBarry2009 Get a life of your own and call yourself names. Were you a bully at school?

  • Please don't worry.

The fat you gained are unsaturated fat, Not the saturated fat. So this fat is different from the other fat. You will look beatiful with this unsaturated fat on your ass.

I hope you will get the beautiful carrots double chin. That will be awesome.

  • nice tits

  • **Oops... "after you come off the FAST"

  • Congratulations on starting the fast again. It's a REBOOT meaning that after you come off the gas you gotta have a healthier lifestyle. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got.

What Juicer did you use by the way?

  • I don't know but How I lose weight is by exercise and diet. I eat strictly veggies and very, very little meat. Even fish I'm scared to eat. And for exercise, I exercise nearly everyday. By that means, interval training..

  • Being honest and posting your videos is an inspiration to alot of people.. I also stopped smoking 3 years ago, good for you. Keep up the the great work

  • Dayyyummmm yur beautiful:)

  • I don't think you've failed your juice fast. It was just the continuation with healthy eating. I've started a juice fast and it is doing amazing things and I'm trying vegetables that I didn't think I'd even like, but am growing to enjoy. You definitely hit the point--it is a lifestyle change and I believe you are committed and can do it!!! The first step is always admitting and you did that. Let us know how you do!! Good luck!

  • what did you eat after the fast?

  • Hun, you are way too hard on yourself.

  • @fafabey Yes I agree too! You must fail first before you succeed. I've tried a lot of solution before and it failed but now I'm happy because the diet plans I'm using is very effective. In a few weeks I already loss a lot of pounds. The site is WeightLossAction. Info (w/out space)

Thumbs up if you failed first!

  • I think this person needs to change the title of this video. It is very misleading, it reads as if the juice fast was the reason for the weight gain.

  • You kinda look prettier the way you look here :)

  • How is your juicing going?! I watched your vid and I'm really wishing you the best! Know that you have tons of ppl supporting you and rooting for your success!!

  • Like the water boy u can do it

  • She hit the nail right on the head when she started talking about the concept of "personal integrity". Sure you can fast and lose a bunch of weight, but if you're not fully committed to changing your lifestyle afterwards you're going to slowly lose all the progress you've made. What's worked well for me is a combination of juicing during the day and then a sensible, balanced dinner in the evenings. 1 meal per week I still eat pizza or fast food without weight gain. Moderation and consistency.

  • totally not a failur...lesson learned, this time the results will be 20 times better

  • When this happens, everyone says that is supposed to happen. I know how hard it is to break a fast the right way. It is very difficult and I don't think a lot of people end it properly. When you are fasting you need to touch your emotions and why you eat. You have to pray about it, find support, and know that it WILL work, you just have to break it the right way and continue to eat well after the fast - 80% raw foods, 20% cooked is a good ratio to eat after a fast.

  • what in the world happened to you???? your last video you looked supper fit, but heck, you need to control yourself better...my god you lost alot of weight previously but you gained load now...you r beautiful no matter what, but don't do fasting that will make you gain more than you need. Be careful hun.

  • I am about to attempt the juice fast this Friday, but I am a little scared now that I have seen this video. I mean will I gain weight back too if I try this? I'm planning on actually only juicing 3 days of the week, and eating in small portions for the other 4 so my body DOESN'T go out of wack and gain weight. Anyone think this is wise? Or do I have to go a few weeks STRAIGHT juicing only?

  • @crocodilliacmomma12

It is worth it. Juicing is not about losing weight though, it is about detoxing your body, which will lead to weight loss as an added benefit. Your plan sounds good to me. Just make sure you are eating raw living fruits and vegetables.

  • nice rack!!!

  • Being a rawist can be tough, but with fasting, I can tell you... the bliss will come ~ love your courage... You are beautiful!!!

  • I am just starting a 15 day juice fast, and don't think you're a failure at all. I tell my students that the only failure occurs when we give up trying. You can do it, and I think you're an inspiration to us who are trying this path toward health.

  • Do you think I should try the juice fast? My husband and I are both very overweight, and we want to do it together..but we have a spin on the diet...What should you do Once the fast is over? how do you incorporate food back into your diet?

  • This is why I don't believe in fasting first of all you can't fast forever which means after you reach the number of days that u set u get off the fasting which means u gain the weight back unless you decide to fast forever which for me is a miserable way to live changing your physique and being healthy is a lifestyle change permanently

  • @Triggerhappy8118 fasting works you just gotta find a balance once youre not fasting anymore, fasting gets you down where you need to be but you still have to maintain after that... shes sayin she didnt maintain properly and came off it to fast in this video.

  • Hey there, thanks so much for posting this. You are certainly NOT a failure doing the juice fast for 28 days! I am on day 49 myself and posting a daily video and due to finish up in about 8 days so it's timely for me to watch my transitioning plan back to solids. I think there really needs to be a plan to transition and I am doing that now and will be posting daily to help others out. I am sure you will succeed so congratulations! Thanks again for sharing.

  • @LynnCSRawRawRaw Thanks for the comment! I hope you've been having improved health on your raw food/juicing journey! How is it going?

  • Thanks for the video, proud of you for sharing that. I had a rough run too coming off my fast, but found out you actually have to change your eating patterns to eat like the new person (meaning new size after weight loss) you've become, or else it all comes back. It was a wild adjustment eating less, but it worked!

  • @LovingRaw @LovingRaw Thanks Philip! It's been a great learning experience. I have always been very inspired by your videos over the years. You are living proof that juice fasts can work! I just need to get into a better emotional state before I try this again. I have actually been exploring the research behind a Paleo diet, like in the book The Primal Blueprint. Makes a lot of sense. But it's easiest to do if you eat meat. And the no added sugar or processed foods is working great for me. :-)

  • Juice = Sugar. I went on a juice fast and gained weight because of all the sugar.

  • @LightParanormal Hi. Thanks for your comment. I agree that there is a lot of sugar in a lot of juice. However I was drinking primarily green juices with a very low sugar content. I lost weight while on the juice fast, but for other reasons than the sugar, I gained weight in the weeks after the fast.

  • @wannaberaw green juices hmm what do u mean by that? I would love to know and try it. I tried the juice fast and went to my doctor like why am I not losing weight! LoL? She acted like I was so dumb telling me about all the sugar and stuff. I did feel a bit stupid. But if you can explain to me what you mean I would love to try that with low sugar. THX

  • @wannaberaw loool your not supposed to drink sugary juice..........you turn vegetables to juice not berries and stuff!!!!

  • @wannaberaw I did a juice fast and lost 1 pound a day, drinking almost all green juices.

  • WOW! Your honesty and video are a SUPER inspiration. THANK YOU.

And YES, you did NOT fail. You actually went 28 days juicing. So you actually Succeeded!!!

I don't know if I could do it (looking at juicers online now - do you reccommend one?.

Thanks again. GREAT JOB. And thanks for sharing your story. That's probably the MOST IMPORTANT part. Sharing your "failure" (which it isn't - it's just a first try) is something EVERYONE can relate too.

  • @BADBRYZ Thank you so much for your encouragement! It means a lot to me! xoxo

  • I think you are really an amazing person, you have the courage to take a hard real look at your behavior and hold your self accountable, It takes a strong person to do such things. I am starting a juice thing but I know I will cheat, not be able to do only juice but all we can do is try. Thank you for your honesty, you made me realize it's ok to try and fail than not to have tried at all. Best of luck to you.Again thank you!!!

  • @bfreder How is your juicing going? Good luck with your health goals, and thanks for the comment!

  • @bfreder

I know what you mean about you know you will cheat. I only lasted 4 days on previous juice fast. I restarted the day after I broke (on day 5). This time when I want to cheat I have some nice clothes I have never been able to get into. I will try them on and that should spur me on as I they will still not fit. Set yourself a vision to aim for. That way you can hold on to it and stop cheating. Its hard really hard.

  • @Cracklinnut1 Well apparently many people think it's about my boobs. ;-) It was intended to be about my experience on my juice fast. Should I wear more clothes next time so you're not so distracted? ;-)

  • I'm thinking it shouldn't matter how you manage the transition back to whole foods, in regards to regaining the weight, as long as you eat a reasonably balanced diet with lots of plants and exercise consistently.

  • @hawaiidispenser I totally agree with your statement. This has been a learning process for me, and I have recently made some new changes that do not involve fasting that so far have been working for me. I will be posting some new videos soon. Thanks for the comment. :-)

  • In case no one else has told you... I am proud of you!!! You are very brave to come on YT and let everyone know your experience. I am sure you are not the only one to go through this.... I am glad you taking back your power and trying to be healthy again. Keep at it....

  • @jdrums73 Thanks so much for your lovely comment! I would have to say that most of the comments I receive are kind, or at least neutral, but I do receive quite a few comments that are quite discouraging and sometimes downright mean. But I don't let that bother me. This is a learning experience for me, and there has obviously been a lot of trial and error, and in the end, I will find what works for me! Thanks again!

  • Take your time. You can even incorporate this into your daily life by juicing for one of the three meals. I wish you luck. Stay strong. Stay healthy!

  • @oanunkor Thanks for the encouragement! I like your idea of juicing one meal. Right now, I've been trying to replace one meal with a huge green smoothie, containing a pound of greens. :-)

  • Huh? What is the problem? You're sexy as hell the way you are. Big beautiful breasts, a very attractive face. You look the way a woman is supposed to look, honey.

  • @JackBuck44 Thanks! Your comment made me smile. :-)
