@traboucos when the opponent is pressing you and giving you nothing but to only defend yourself, you are there covered, waiting for the right opportunity to strike back. the ball here simulates the opponent kicking you ass like when he corners you,even better, you cant see anything cause you're covered entirely to defend yourself. as soon as the opponent moves (the ball), you strike back with your best combo. it works, this exercise really helps a lot. made my reaction in this cases way faster.

FYI, this gym doesn't teach "kung foolery" the guy of the gym was once an world MMA champion. It teaches MMA.
