@leniv3c3 You're right...there has never been anything like a "Czechoslovak" nation. It was created after WWI artificially so that Czechoslovakia could "be born". I am Czech, but in many countries, e.g. in Latin America, I still say I am from Czechoslovakia - it's like a brand name. First I felt strange when we separated but I think it has been a good thing. Slovaks needed to have a country they could call their own. And now the relations between the two nations are almost perfect. Vela štastia

Buffon would have never caught it, either, because outside czechoslovakia, NO ONE knew what Panenka does with his penalty shots (he had a few varieties in his pocket). He himself called it "A Falling Leaf". Watch it again - you will see how well he masks his kick until the very last moment. @panxotdm Creo que el trofeo no se queda en el país ganador sino se pasa de un ganador al otro. Yo soy checo y fan del equipo doméstico de Panenka - Bohemians Praga. El es leyenda. Desgraciadamente en aquellos tiempos los jugadores de Checoslovaquia no podían ir a jugar a los mayores clubes del Europa hasta que cumplieran 33 aňos! Panenka se fue a jugar a Rapid Vienna. Estuve en el estadio en su partido amistoso de despedida entre Bohemians y Rapid.
