The world needs some good light pop summer songs. Not everything has to be deep and dramatic, or sleazy and disturbing. There was a time when music was fun for everyone. I wish them well.

oh it's brilliant-isn't anyone seeing how they are a real flashback kind of power-pop band, a la' Cheap Trick (Hi Bun E.!) or The Cars or something, and this "Rock After Dark" show is a spoof on the old Midnight Special, NightFlight and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert music programs they used to have on television back in the 70's & 80's. .
Not bad...I prefer Smashing Pumpkins music & Hanson's music to this, but not bad...just lacks depth in the lyrics tho I assume their vision for Tinted Windows doesn't involve too much depth but just jamming & having fun. Whatever floats their boat despite Pumpkins & Hanson being 2 of my fav 90's bands..Nirvana is the other in my top 3 bands from the 90s. All 3 had different styles yet all had lyrics in most their songs that really said something of substance.
From all the posts that I have read, it seems that only Smashing Pumpkins fans are hating this. Fans of all of the other bands are eating this up. Get over it. James enjoys pop music. I know that this is hard for you to understand and you might need some counseling. While you're talking to a shrink, the rest of us will get back to enjoying this amazing music.

Had my doubts when I first heard about Tinted Windows. Taylor Hanson has a great voice, no one can deny that. I actually think it's pretty catchy...

hmmm... i'm not really sure what to think of this. indeed, the music is very catchy, but i hope the objectives of this band's music are far from serious. if they're here to play catchy pop songs and not give two shits about the true purpose of their music, i really like how it sounds. however, if they mean to be taken seriously, they might as well quit right now.

Ok, so that presenter is the most uncharismatic ever. Still, I like the music. It's just supposed to be fun and it is, what's the big deal? Taylors voice is great and, even though it's been twelve years since I've first laid eyes on him, yeah, I'd still fuck him!

Qndo era mais nova, "era" fã do Hanson, hj em dia continuo acompanhando o trabalho deles, é um grupo com muito potêncial, apenas axo que eles "relaxaram" muito depois de this time around. Lembro do tremendo sucesso q foi o cd, tocava sempre nas rádios. Taylor tem um timbre d voz incrível, mas é minha impressão ou esse novo som n combinou em nada c/ a voz dele?

It's supposed to be pop rock. They're just having fun. They don't care about how meaningful their songs for Tinted Windows. That's the point of them coming together as a side project.
