What mode is this? Rom Mode or Keyboard Mode?

ROM mode, keyboard or keypad mode is kind of limited, in ROM mode you get 128 "banks" of souds, which can be selected with the Mod wheel, or knobs

Works great but I still prefer the unpredictibility of standard unit. I guess it depends on how one uses it anyway.

how do you put in that line out into the speak n spell. ive seen everyone with those nice outputs 1/8 inc right. just started bending any tips would be great. i was just running speaker wire and attaching it to the speakers on whatever i was bending. ghetto for sure. nice bends- only one ive seen put it through midi. ive put some bends on my mpc 1000.

The 1/8 inch audio out comes stock on most S&S, but I have seen some that don't have any audio out jacks , but it seems you already figured how implement a jack. Keep at it, S& S are fun.
