BlazBlue is actually an example of good voice acting in both English and Japanese. Beyond the voice actors themselves being talented, the predominant focus of voice acting on BB was on it's story mode.

And it's not really true that Japanese voices tend to sound terrible to those who know the language - like any other language, that's dependant on the quality of the voice acting, not on the language itself.

For 10 years of waiting, this does not look like the true sequel to MvC2, it instead looks like a updated TvC of some sort with DLC announced BEFORE game release in order to milk this game out. Guys, get the hype outta ur system, because when you buy this game, you'll be buying 50% of it, while the other 50% is coming through paid DLC. FUCK THAT!!!

I've been gaming for about 25 years or so, maybe longer, and before there was the 360/PS3, there was no such thing as DLC. It was you buy the game and get 100% of it on that disc. No extra content, and no exclusive content (with the exception of Soul Calibur II). No DLC bullshit to have to pay for. Sure there was a lot of waiting between sequels, but it's been worth the wait. VALVE doesn't have bullshit paid DLC.They release their game to the best and freely update

@cpsten Japanese voices tend to sound terrible to people who are fluent in the language, dialects and accents too, especially series like One Piece and lesser popular games and anime. BlazBlue being another good example of irritating Japanese voices.

The thing people don't realise is most of the time they don't really want to hear the character yell out the name of their move 30 times per match but if it's in a language they don't understand or mentally block out then it doesn't annoy them.

@jasamdomo Loads of people like C.Viper, she's being realised as one of if not the strongest character in Street Fighter 4, especially with her untapped potential due to being so hard to master.

Anyway long story short the reason why C.Viper is in the game is because they chose one character from each of the 4 fighting games, and who would you rather have from SSF4? Seth? Rufus? El Fuerte (who is basically She-Hulk)? Juri? Abel? The biggest con is getting Akuma from SSF3 instead of a unique.

@jasamdomo To be fair that's your opinion. Lot's of people love her and I don't think they wanted it to be a complete sausage-fest in the game so it was a toss-up between her and Juri. In honesty I think Juri and Seth would have been good in MvC because they're very mobile characters. Feng Shui engine would have been insane at the speed of this game and would have worked well doing light x2, medium x2, heavy, launch, repeat.

Ahh I dunno I probably won't play Viper much but she's cool enough.

@jasamdomo I might aswell mention Sagat is far from god tier in SSF4, he's probably struggling at mid tier due to his massive nerfs from vanilla, awkward strings and low combo potential, and Rufus is mid tier too, though he has potential. Abel has never been God tier either, though he is well recognised in the west as a strong tournament character, and as for Guile, well he deserved his nerf in Arcade Edition.

They realise they can't please everyone with their choices so fingers crossed for DLC
