This is so silly. None of them would ever participate in a welcome back cox song for him. They all should know that he would hate that! just stupit of the writers and totaly out of caracter for the whole staff!

I kind of agree. Carla, for example, knows that Cox don't like this kind of treatment. However, everyone knows about JD's willness to show his respect to Cox, and this is not the first time he tried to make him happy or proud with such a lame idea. I guess he talked the other one's in to it and convinced em' that this was a great idea.
