All those "real" hip-hop artists aren'rtanywhere to be seen at the moment. Drake has the swagga and the presence to connect with his audience. If you want real hip-hop, why not start creating it yourself if you're so disappointed by the music happening now. Talent is talent and so are connections! Drake has both.
