Jeff's running 425/300 spring rates on non-shortened bodies. We shorten the bump stops enough so the tire is able to contact the fender liner is much shorter. WIthout a fender liner, we can go with a very soft, progressive bump stop or you can shorten the shock body. We've found rates in the 700/425 range are still very streetable. Jeff's setup was a bit more conservative. I've daily-driven 800/450 on my '95M for HPDE and OSP autocross.
Did pretty much the same thing. Got FCM non-adjustable and tested it at Thunderhill two days later. I didn't want to be messing with shock settings all the time, just driving and enjoying. The suspension just plain works, puts so many more expensive cars with million-way and whatnot adjustables to shame.

What are the spring rates? Did you choose to get your shocks shorten?
