And ok, the production then was not superb, compared to today's possibilities, but the brutal agression then still counts for me. But the modern is surely not bad. Personally I think Let There Be Blood is absolute garbage. And not just because of the vocals. All the guitars are downtuned like a mother fucker giving them muddy tone and a terrible nu-metal quality in sharp contrast to Bonded By Blood which was entirely in E flat. Most of the songs are also slowed down which is a big fucking mistake in thrash. If you want to make slow shit fine be my guest but don't slow down your older shit. That's without even going into Rob Dukes being a shitty vocalist.
I enjoyed Let there be Blood. My only complaint was with the vocals. But I guess I just keep pitting Duke against Baloff. As far as this song goes, my favourite version is still the track from Another Lesson in Violence. The guitar just kicked ass from start to finish.
