When I first saw the episode and heard the original music, not gonna lie, I welled up, and cried. Its so emotional, I yearn for the years of Peyton, Jake and the high school years. Oh, I might just have to whip out the old box sets. Chad and Hilarie need to join Tyler in coming back for season 9. PLEASEEEEE!

The thing about the into is at the end, the person bouncing the basketball, is Lucas! Because on the first ever episode of OTH you saw I'm dribbling it around tree hill cause he almost got run over by peyton but that's a different story, and he was wearing the hoodie and everything so at least he's still in the intro :)

iim glad intro credit is back again, and i love the fact that lucas and peyton are actually on the credits only you dont see there faces. but what the hell im glad they are on... could this be a hint hint... come on bring leyton back for the final season ever... end it how it began :) i love one tree hill but it isnt the same without leyton tho. i cant stand alex. i like quinn but her or clay could never replace chad or hilarie... they made that show.... :)

i'm so glad the credits are back (even though i hate the gavin covers), but does anyone else notice how different it looks? like, in the first 4 seasons, the credits had an "orange-y" color, like they glowed. i can't really explain it lol. but if you go back and watch the any of the other seasons' credits, they have an almost softer feel to them.

soooo happy the credits are back. it kind of annoyed me how they started using the simple 'one tree hill' on a black background for every episode as it was only used previously for poignant or very dramatic episodes. I missed the credits!!!

i hateeee that theyre changing artists every week.. absolutely hate it. i loved having the original theme with all the new characters added.. for me changing the artist every week is taking away all the feeling and emotion from seasons past. its horrible. keep the original by gavin degraw!!

anyone notice how with the older characters they have shown the progression? Nathan, Haley, Brooke and Mouth all start out with like their earliest shots then each shot gets older until their last shot is of them happy in the present :)

I think they brought it back because they suspect it's their last season. I mean they only have 13 episodes, that's not normally a good sign for shows. That means it doesn't have a strong enough audience, and they're not sure about it.

@stooge10101 One Tree Hill aint the same without Lucas, its mostly his story, they screwed up One Tree Hill over the years, the original feel aint even there no more, except 4 mouth, nathan, haley, brooke, and nathan's son, u have a bunch of unknows in the opening credits LOL no wonder this is the last season
