ok so ive been watching ur videos for a few months and i LUV them i just have a few questions: you said that deep conditioning once a month is pushing it. Does t hat mean i should do it more often than that? Also my last relaxer a little more than 3 months ago...i plan on gettin micros in the next couple of weeks and also keep those in for 3 months. Then i want to get a relaxer b4 thanksgiving. What do u think about it?
I am also trying to get my hair healthier, but my own preference is to use minimum products. i don't use heat and I only use OSIS+ anti frizz serum and that's it. and it makes such a difference!
you said you deep condition everytime you wash or try; so you wash nd condition your hair then out a deep conditioner in nd let it sit then wash it out ? then moisturize nd seal?
@Empress01Lomo I use African Pride Oil from Sallys just a dab around the edges at night sleep in a silk scarf and wear hairstyles that don't pull at your edges:) yes your hair will grow back:)
Hey vonnique, i'm trying to grow my hair long my hair is like between ear length and shoulder length.I stretch my relaxers about two months. I wash my hair once a week. How long do you think it will take my hair to grow atleast full shoulder length?[i have your hair texture from what i can see]
Try kemi oil, kera care has a oil, go to a beauty supple store and browse the oil isle.. they are so manyto choose for just make sure the ingredients are oil based/pure.
i know this has nothing to do with me but i had to go check out ur vids.. i love what your doing.. you can inspire anyone from different walks of life.
And I thought I knew everything about hair.. Your great! I didn't know about wearing your hair down was bad, but after you said something about that, I was like.. wow, that totally makes since. I just have been taking prenatle vitamins =]
Questiong; is iht okay to use like 2 diff. type shampoo buht only if whenn yur taking out weavee yu use one shampoo A&'d whenn yu geht a perm juss use the perm shampoo ?
Another great video! I agree with stretching your relaxers. Its definately a fine art to it. Relaxing too soon is not good, but waiting too long can be bad also. I see girls stretching for so long, and using those hard protein conditioners but get so disappointed at relaxer time. LADIES, treat your hair like its a rubber band. When you strecth it too far......... it breaks!
i do everything on your list! and girl i know what u mean about seeing someone with damaged hair and wanting desperately to say something. i feel like that almost everyday at work, but i don't want people to take it the wrong way so i keep quiet unless they ask me.
The satin pillowcase is a GREAT investment!!! I never feel bad about falling asleep because I fall asleep on it and it doesn't dry my hair out. Love it!
Great video! Thank god I found out about satin/silk scarves to wear to bed! Also don't forget about eating healthy! That's a very important factor in having healthy hair (and healthy body) :D
does it have to be a water based moisturizer? because i heard that if you wear your hair straight and down as i do, that i need a oil based moisturizer do you know any good ones
Well for my hair type i need lots of moisture. It all depends on your preferences. You can use the oil to seal in moisture but if this works for u i say stick to it:-)
what exactly is a water based moisturizer
