  • what exactly is a water based moisturizer

  • how do yuh know a moisturizer is water vased and wat is thatt

  • how do u care for the hair underneath the weave?

  • @SweetEmpressVal just as you would without it. wash, moisturize and oil your hair.:)

  • Great advice!!! I agree with every pointer!! Thanks!

  • ok so ive been watching ur videos for a few months and i LUV them i just have a few questions: you said that deep conditioning once a month is pushing it. Does t hat mean i should do it more often than that? Also my last relaxer a little more than 3 months ago...i plan on gettin micros in the next couple of weeks and also keep those in for 3 months. Then i want to get a relaxer b4 thanksgiving. What do u think about it?

  • I am also trying to get my hair healthier, but my own preference is to use minimum products. i don't use heat and I only use OSIS+ anti frizz serum and that's it. and it makes such a difference!

  • I am getting my hair relaxed soon because my hair is falling and sheading out. It has a nappy spot in on place. Thanks for the video!

  • you said you deep condition everytime you wash or try; so you wash nd condition your hair then out a deep conditioner in nd let it sit then wash it out ? then moisturize nd seal?

  • any advice on edges?!! :( my poor poor hair! lol i'm at the point of cutting it (i think)... HELP!

  • @Empress01Lomo I use African Pride Oil from Sallys just a dab around the edges at night sleep in a silk scarf and wear hairstyles that don't pull at your edges:) yes your hair will grow back:)

  • @DoUWanna007 thanks! will try

  • what is your deep conditioner called

  • If you must wrap hair try rotating so that your hair doesnt get used to one way wrapping..

  • Is wraping you hair every night something good to do ?

  • many BSS sleep caps are made of polyester. Is this fabric good for retaining moisture and thus hair growth

  • Hey! I was wondering how do you wash your hair with a weave on ? {Sew in}

  • yes, see my sew in video :-)

  • how can you take care of your real hair when you wear lace wig?

  • Hey vonnique, i'm trying to grow my hair long my hair is like between ear length and shoulder length.I stretch my relaxers about two months. I wash my hair once a week. How long do you think it will take my hair to grow atleast full shoulder length?[i have your hair texture from what i can see]

  • You had me dying starting at 4:41! lol! I use to do that before I started caring my for my own hair.

  • Do you use a leave in conditioner after washes only or daily?

  • Why do you consider a good water based moisturizer?

  • i bought jojoba oil last week and everytime i use it my face breaks out. Do u know of any other oils that won't break out my skin?

  • Try kemi oil, kera care has a oil, go to a beauty supple store and browse the oil isle.. they are so manyto choose for just make sure the ingredients are oil based/pure.

  • the best product to use to me is PROFECTIV GROWTH RENEW for people with really damaged hair. vonnique would mirco take out my hair?

  • I have never had micros but I know many people that say if u arent carefull they could damage your edges. so be very carefull

  • is normal for couple strand of hair to come out when combing after a wash or just every time it

    s been combed?

  • what leave-in do you use?

  • I use atone with nature brand. You can view it in my products video

  • thanks for sharing..

  • ;) Glad u learned somethin!

  • One more question, is organic coconut oil good for the hair?

  • I wold think it is good ot use a your oil to seal in your moisture

  • Omgee, girL yuu back .. lol .

Questiong; is iht okay to use like 2 diff. type shampoo buht only if whenn yur taking out weavee yu use one shampoo A&'d whenn yu geht a perm juss use the perm shampoo ?

  • Yes thats fine!

  • What's an example of a water based moisterizer? Who make a good one?

  • Check out my products vid;-)

  • Another great video! I agree with stretching your relaxers. Its definately a fine art to it. Relaxing too soon is not good, but waiting too long can be bad also. I see girls stretching for so long, and using those hard protein conditioners but get so disappointed at relaxer time. LADIES, treat your hair like its a rubber band. When you strecth it too far......... it breaks!

  • i do everything on your list! and girl i know what u mean about seeing someone with damaged hair and wanting desperately to say something. i feel like that almost everyday at work, but i don't want people to take it the wrong way so i keep quiet unless they ask me.

  • The satin pillowcase is a GREAT investment!!! I never feel bad about falling asleep because I fall asleep on it and it doesn't dry my hair out. Love it!

  • sometimes its not that easy.

not everything works on everyone's hair.

but i understand where you are coming from

  • Whats your Favorite Leave in?

  • Aphogee is the best! It has alot of protiens in it.

  • LOL, your facial expression when you said "who shot yall" was priceless. Your an inspiration to my hair journey, thanks so much!

  • 5 stars!! great vid

lool wen u was talking about weave

  • Love the tips. Reminders are great on what it takes to keep your hair healthy. Thank you.

  • Another great tip.:-) Thnks!

  • i would also say DO know ur moisture protein balance that would save your hair when it comes to breakage

  • Great point! I encourage ne tips that I mayhave missed:-)

  • Thank god I found you! Okay I have an quick question

I been using Hollywood beauty carrot cream every night is that good?

  • Thats fine! How do you like it? I use carrot oil every now n then also.

  • It's very thick and makes my hair oily you knw any other good oil based moisturizers ?

  • great video once again, yay!

  • does it have to be a water based moisturizer? because i heard that if you wear your hair straight and down as i do, that i need a oil based moisturizer do you know any good ones

  • Well for my hair type i need lots of moisture. It all depends on your preferences. You can use the oil to seal in moisture but if this works for u i say stick to it:-)
