  • four people were not teenagers in love

  • Oldies rule forever

  • I have a CD of Dion/Belmonts live in concert. This music will live on forever. Can't say that about todays music tho.

  • dion the lion!

  • Oh boy - this was my theme song in the 60s!!

  • Man they should like remaster the original teenager in love and the rest of dion and the belmonts songs into a new album of 2011

  • i wish they just wore the same stuff they did back in the 50s.. wtf is up with the cowboy hats n shit.. still sounds amazing tho

  • @condor949 They are a lot older and balding, that's the reason for hat's etc. Unfortunately, a lot of folks think you can't play instruments or sing if you are bald.

  • Last time seen Dion was Live at Madison square Gdn with the Belmonts what a reunion concert

    Dion we love you

Drrock port de soller mallorca spain

  • Oh Dion....you are still great !!! Let's put the Elvistrash in the dustbin and only listen to your great tunes!

  • I love rock and alternative, punk, hip hop, ect...but this stuff is king! How could somebody not like this song?

  • IMpossible (not to like this song, no matter how old you are.)

  • Aren't Italo-Americans masters of timing?

Just listen to the opening line and gasp in admiration. Long may you croon, Dion!

  • When ya watch this video, you realize that he owns the crowd. He's having as much fun as the peeps in the seats.

  • @centipeeds4always WHOA I hope he is not quite 60 yet, I listened to him in the 60's and I served in Veitnam and just reached 60 myself. Be Cool!!!!

  • @rolbri Too late, He's 70 years old now, and still rocks despite his age!

  • @rolbri And there's nothing wrong with being in your 60s, as long as you still have the same spirit you did back then

  • great song, would love this on dvd, brings back lots of memories

  • This is a great song. Dion still sounds great. The band backing him up sounds alot like the Belmonts.

  • What is the name of the band he is playing with? They are utterly amazing!!!!

  • @ghostswerepeopletoo

the band is called the belmonts

  • @kitkatjeff ''The original backup vocalists with Dion fro awhile in the 1950s were called the Belmonts. From what I can see, those guys don't appear to be present in this performance. Dion is on Facebook, and responds to email and posts. If you ask him who was playing at this performance, he may be able to tell you.

  • @randy472 Where can you find his Facebook?

  • @crowley24 In FB, enter Dion Dimucci in the search window, and his page will come up. Cheers!

  • @crowley24 On facebook

  • @ghostswerepeopletoo -its the belmonts

  • you won't trust me but i'm 14 i'm franch and i adore DION and all the rockabilly and surf music.

  • I always loved Dion's early version of this song.vezry nice ;);0;0:):):)

    :):):)

  • yeh would bin better just pickin it instead of slide. but great version

  • I love this song but god that solo on the guitar was saad, sorry but it was god awful

  • I always loved Dion's early version of this song, but this one is also great! He sings it with such sensitivity, feeling, and deep emotion. It's truly moving and touching.

  • scotpens you are a Jerk capital J

  • I so agree: growing up in the 50's, this song was truly, an anthem for a generation, and I'm so proud to have been a part of it. Forever, Dion! Wolfsky9

  • You lucky bastard!!!!

  • its amazing how they can still sing at that age :)

  • I LOVE THIS SONG ITS SO AWESOME!!!

  • he sounds different ages, still ausome, but different.

  • sang this song on stage with dion as one of his belmonts, so much fun wished i could of had it video taped. great experince

  • Dion proves he's still the King of Doo Wop, just as important to the evolution of Rock & Roll as Bob Dylan...Dion is now proving that he's the king of the NY Blues too!!! Dion is just a pure talent that should be honored by every fan of music. Period!!! 50 years of recording, man !!!

  • Right on. I couldn't agree more.

  • Great song, great voice, thank you Dion.

  • To all those who weren't around in the middle to late 1950's,it was a great time to be a "teenager," hearing sounds from the likes of Dion. There were so many great groups who sang the greatest sounding music to one's ear. AM radio was boss.

  • This song is even better than you are giving it credit for...Don't take it literally as "a teenager in love", its much deeper than that..its any of us, at any age asking the Lord above about the meaning of life, and the pain associated with love it particular

  • best doo wop love song ever...dion rocks, wish he would have done it with the belmonts in later stats....life goes on.....great song

  • Why don't Doo-Wop bands like this ever travel to Australia? I love this song. Thank you.

  • Dion got to past 65 years now?,he was on tv in jools holland show last night in uk.

great a legend like him still going!.

  • Wow, he got old but he still sounds godlike! Yikes, that's great!

  • He really does doesn't he!

  • Shouldn't that be "Why must I be a senior citizen in love"?

    He still sounds good, though!

  • brilliant best doo wop song ever recorded

  • Without question!

  • yes absolutely---best doo wop song ever recorded

  • heh, this song is older than my mom and dad! but you gotta love the music before the british invasion...

  • he just keeps getting better, he looks better now than he did in the sixties.... love that song...he sings it with such ease....love himi did when i was a teenager also...

  • This makes me depressed. Life is so short.

  • I love this song
