I'm 22 and I LOVE your videos! I love to sew. But, I am just learning how to use a sewing machine. I know the basics. And I keep my machine on the same stitch for everything. I don't even know what it is called. It's just the normal stitch. Anyways. You're so much fun!!

I made a small quilt in a beginners class and have wanted to do another bigger quilt but have been a bit unsure about being able to do it but I have watched this video several times and think I am going to go for it with this one, now to get the template and see what happens.

This is a great project. I save the scraps of each quilt that I make in a bag so I will make a spider quilt using each set of pieces. This will be my record of my quilts!

I couldn't wait to try this and so I created a template out of a cereal box for the wacky web piece and then cut some 8.5 in squares of paper and cut them in half to create the triangles. I did not have the lapel stick so I just pinned the center piece and sewed in down. It is coming along nicely and I can not tell you how much fun I am having with it. You are such an inspiration! Thanks!

Do you need to set your machine at 1.5 for sewing this quilt since your are using foundation paper?
