@BlackLeopardQueen Actually, dogs CAN see colors. They are "colorblind" much like humans are--they can see select colors but not the full spectrum. They can see colors in the blue-violet range and colors in the yellow-green range. We can see the full range of colors because we have three color receptors in our eyes, but dogs (and colorblind humans) only have two.

They are not color blind. Instead of seeing the rainbow like we do they see dark blue, light blue, gray, light yellow, a darker yellowish/brownish color, and dark gray. Green, yellow, and orange are all a yellowish color while violet and blue are blue. Green-blue is a grey.
