IIRC, the NHL officials protested the league's decision not to suspend Schoenfeld (which would have been for nothing) by not appearing at the Devils next game. They had to borrow minor league officials. I heard the game on WABC radio that night.
The tape CLEARLY shows Koharski tripped on his own. As he stands there squeeling "you're gone! and I hope it's on tape" , the "tape" vindicates Schoenfeld.
