Scrap Brain Zone > Metalliac Madness Zone.

Anyone who thinks this is the hardest Sonic level ever, should try playing through all 3 acts of Metropolis Zone.

@AntoG1986 This is the hardest fairest level in the series.Since Metropolis is very cheap with the enemy placement but other then the enemy placementes Metropolis isnt that hard.

@bardhi09. For sure, Scrap Brain is hard, but only the the 3rd act (Labyrinth Zone Act 4!) is one I would call life-threatning. Since I found Metropolis hard throughout, plus that Boss battle at the end, I just found Metropolis harder. I mean , those f**king Slicers!

@AntoG1986 Scrap Brain is literally almost impossible to finish without getting hit and it doesnt rely in Cheap Enemy Placement.Its so narrow it really looks like its trying to kill you and it really looks threatening.Just imagine Scrap Brain without the Ring System HELL.While Metropolis is only hard becuz of the cheap enemy placement.

To me Metropolis isnt hard just Annoying i mean im running in a cog and then Asteroid hits me then i have to start to run in the cog again D:<!

@bardhi09. I can manage the first two acts without a hit, but the 3rd act is a beast, unless you take the massive shortcut, making it MUCH EASIER. You forgot the boss fight in Metropolis, which can be very hard when you can't cheese it with Tails. That, the less-threatning badniks, plus the fact that there's no boss fight is why I think it's harder then Scrap Brain. Saying Metropolis is just cheap enemy placement is a futile argument. There's just as many hazards that can hurt/kill you.

And the boss battle goddamit its so cheap you cannot beat that boss battle without getting hit(atleast i didnt) reminds me of the Sonic CD Final Boss.

But as far as Enviriomental Hazards go i think Scrap Brain is more cuntish.

And i think there isnt Bottomless Pits in Metropolis(aside from the last part in act 3) from what i recall.

Even now, I still have a hard time with that mid boss. Whoever made that level was really on some dirt. lol. However, I respect them. You should see Eggmanland in Sonic Unleashed 360/PS3. That level is just ass. You will not get through that level without dying. Its impossible.

When I was younger, yea, it was hard once you got to metropolis zone in 2. Now, its pretty much easy. Sonic & Knuckles don't count technically since its the 2nd half of Sonic 3. The game was rushed thus split in half. S3&K is the official game and yes its hard once you hit death egg. Everything else is easy.
