  • with p90x do you need to buy equipment (dumbbells etc) and does it come with a list of specific items you need?

  • I hope I'm not over doing it. I've been doing p90x weights 4 times a week, 2 out of 4 times on the current day I do insanity, and then insanity on my days off of p90x, I leave Sundays open for rock climbing / bike riding/ swimming/ etc. etc.

    I did insanity starting at 200 lbs (about 6 months ago) then I started this routine about 4 months ago. I went from 200 - 165 in 2 months, then 165 - 230 in 4 months. The doctor is saying it's too much but I don't know how to gradually turn it off.

  • @Ekskrementer well there's no need to do more than they instruct you to do. The programs are so successful because they work as they are

  • @Ekskrementer yeah, that's too much, even god rested for a day. maybe p90x should have included a chill pill for you.

  • @MegaDoctorH I don't think so. If you know you don't have much fat though (like me) you should cut of the phase one diet by at least a week. THis means that you do the 2nd phase meal plan for a week while you still do phase 1 exercises, OK? Or if you're really thin, I would recommend eating more calories so that you're losing fat but not weight. DId this help?

  • @MegaDoctorH i started at 300 pounds and am now on week 2 if that helps. I can do mabey 90% of the exercises. I am an ex-marine though so most of the exercises are not new to me.

  • Hey leo im 6 days into p90x. Its tough man. Ive also cleaned up my diet quite a bit. I started at 218lbs., my goal is to be 186, like I was in 2005., using atkins diet alone, but I was just skinny fat, u know what I mean? But thanks for the motivation video.

    and im going to finish strong

    im getting great results i wasnt over weight i was actually 12lbs underweight last summer and with one month of p90x i gained 8lbs and im 9.5% body fat :D
