What I would get would be the basics first. This is what I would get for 100$:

Chaos Lord - 15$

12 Khorne Berzerkers Squad - 30$

10 Chaos Space Marines - 35$

Chaos Space Marines Codex - 22$

You want a medal? Gaunts are only good for cover support and on top of that if they aren't bio-morphed properly aren't worth anything. It means nothing bragging about it. Plus you clearly weren't facing a smart person. No one tries to take Tao on with nids while a Termangant squad hasn't engaged in close combat. Tell whoever you killed their 6 that he needs to learn how to play and bio-morph.

Gz you still didn't listen/read. Homogaunts have the worst melee combat. They should NEVER, ok, NEVER EVER be in close range combat. Termagants are supposed to. Fire warriors actually have better melee than homogaunts. That is what I am trying to get you to see there. If it was Termagants I would be impressed, but since you were fighting homogaunts there is nothing impressive there.

Tyranids are a horde army, Hormogaunts aren't your heavy hitters, carnifexes and other large beasts are... the gaunts are there to tie up the enemy so you can bring in your proper fighters. they are effectively jsut annoying cannon fodder especially good because they come in groups of up to 20!

@naam123hj sure, storm boyz can fly, but they have a nice little bonus of possible explosions, can't hold up CC in the same way as gaunts, and are still quite a few points heftier than the lower cost gaunts. Storm boyz come in 25$ packs of 5 and max squad size of 20, but the cheap Gaunts come in 29$ bundles of 10 and max squad size 30
