@jazzmanpete Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (like AIG) are the names of big Banking organisations in the U.S. that when the banking crash happened got bailed out by the U.S. government. A truly ridiculous amount was given to them. So of course Tom said "changing my name to Fannie Mae" means he'll get his bailout too.

Republicans have some of the blame, but don't blame the Republicans entirely for this one. What a thrill to see you've joined us here on YouTube. I first saw you do the Chrysler version of this song on PBS in the early 80's and have carried the tune in my head ever since.
