@ErickReyKing91 The Iranian people should get more credit.These protests would have spread with our without twitter or facebook. For example a lot of the protesters used cries of Allah u Akbar from rooftops to spread the protests.

The protests in Iran grew because of multiple reasons. Social media was only one of these reasons, and if not twitter, than people did/would have gotten updates from facebook, which is much better than twitter. Frankly the main reason the protests grew was because people were communicating with one another on their rooftops at night. Twitter is just an excuse for "journalists" like Sanchez to cut corners.
