I lost my respect for him. I don't care how good he is. No one should ever get away with cheating like that. Seriously, he couldn't just study like everyone else and take the SAT himself? When I competed in sports, I never asked anyone to give me special treatment in class.
This is just another instance of saying it's okay for athletes to break the rules. Now he's making millions. I don't care if he's educated. But I do care that he received his education through cheap shortcuts.
Get over it? It's not like I lost any sleep over it or inwardly wish for him to fail. But it says a lot about his character. And there have been other instances like this, so it's not just a one time thing.
Sure, blame the NBA. They actually don't make it mandatory to play in college, it's just what most do. It's an age limit. The fact of the matter is that the only person who decided to cheat was him. Nobody made him do it. The NBA doesn't tell people to cheat their way into college.
It's not a matter of doing horrible on SATs, it's a matter of letting someone else do them for you. I think education is something that is vitally important, and so that someone's success included cheating into college just bothers me. That's all.

Boston is a weak playoff team, this squad that they have is only like 4 games above .500 in the last two playoffs combined, I dont think they are winning anything for a while. Another 19 year drought on the way.
Boston is a GREAT playoff team! And I hate the Celtics. They did this with so many injuries. Every time I see a Celtics game, it's always competitive and entertaining. They know how to execute very well at the end of games too. I don't think it would be a stretch to say that they are capable of winning the finals next year, or sometime within the next 5 years, 10 tops.

In my opinion, the Celtics are overconfident and overly comfortable just because they have Allen, Garnett, Pierce and a good supporting cast. They think they can steamroll every team. They lack the drive and intensity that propels some of the other teams. If they have the drive, intensity and the hunger, they could've easily wiped Chicago out in 4 or 5 games. Otherwise, I could see Game 7 going to Chicago. Go Bulls! :)

In my opinion, the Celtics are overconfident and overly comfortable just because they have Allen, Garnett, Pierce and a good supporting cast. They think they can steamroll every team. They lack the drive and intensity that propels some of the other teams. If they have the drive, intensity and the hunger, they could've easily wiped Chicago out in 4 or 5 games. Otherwise, I could see Game 7 going to Chicago. Go Bulls! :)
