@LynnLynnCosplay I'd highly recommend the Noblesse Oblige, I'm working on it at the moment and its fantastic (and will looks awesome even OOB and panel lined). Aside from that, the Nineballs is a great kit.
Kotobukiya are also releasing super detailed SD type kits of certain AC models, this D-Style range are very reasonably priced and the just release Aaliyah will be a great model (I've one in the mail at the moment).
@Wizartar To be honest, excluding those fantastic looking AGE SD kits which were unveiled at the 51st plamo show last week, I not a fan if the AGE kits, perhaps the MG which is being release in Spring 2012 will change my opinion but at the moment I've no plans to get the HG's.
Got the MG FA Unicorn on pre-order, also I'd like to get the HG Jesta and Dreissen but will most likely wait for a HLJ sale.
How about yourself Sir, any plans to pick up the upcoming gunpla kits?
@tc012009 Bandai have made a number of excellent SD kits recently. But the only kits I'll be building in the hear future are from Ikea! Need 2 new workbenches, a small 1 for my airbrush and a mid-sized for building & painting.
Next kit for me is Gundam AGE-1 MegaSized, will be first airbrush project. Skipping RG Freedom; will wait for the sales. Speaking of which hope November brings a good one over at HLJ, was disappointed with lasts year's sale.
Was looking at some Armored Core stuff with Bandai not releasing much of interest. Kotobukiya's newer AC aren't for me, they have some really nice kits in the back catalog. But with a weak Euro right now, am stalling in hopes things pick up :S
After getting the Hot Toys Ironman Mark IV really noticed the different and cancelled some stuff till next year anyway. That said I still hope to pick up the Megasize AGE-1 kit
@jumpingspoon02 Which one Jamie, I've both the Aspina White Glint and the Line Ark White Glint.
I'd actually like to build them both together and switch around the Cores, in all honesty it will most likely be spring of 2012 before I get a chance to build them.
@jbelux Thanks, I really love these kits, I've been playing Armored Core 4 over the past few days to get some inspiration before working on these models.
@SNEEPER1980 Good luck with the competition Steve, it certainly sounds very interesting and I particularly like the fact you are opening it to all type of mech kits. I've my eye on a very particular kit at the moment manufactured by Volks (a forthcoming release), it would make an interesting entry if I can manage to get one!
@tc012009 i hope you get it bro!!!! would really love to see what it is and just plain see some of your work in the contest. you do high quality detail work!!! you would have a strong chanceof winning something bro!! and as it is open to all ;mecha i really would like to seee a strong armored core showing!!!!! definitly give it some consideration....i love all mecha. so thats one o fthe main driving froces of us starting this contest!
@kimiafisika Not planning to get it at the moment. I already have an Alicia Unsung (its sitting in front of me on my desk) and I typically don't buy recolored AC kits (mainly because I paint these kits). It a fantastic model BTW, if I hadn't the original I'd be picking up the pearl version.
@zversus Feedback it is. Fantastic news to hear your returning to AC kits Z, I loved your series on the Nineball and I'll follow you work on the GAEA with great interest.
I really need to start applying weathering to these kits and I'm going to re-watch those tutorials
it would be nice to see the feedback. I'm not big on armred core even though one ove its kits was one of my first builds, but seeing the production that you put on the kits makes them super awsome. thanks for all that work.
@trejosam00 The Feedback looks like a fantastic model, it looks like a futuristic tank on legs. Many thanks for your kind comment, I really enjoy building and painting these models, and appreciate the time you take to watch the videos/ slideshows.
Yes, its a pretty great model, very old school design, really worth considering. The Hogire/ Noblesse Oblige is also very awesome.
