  • Dear Esegena - normally, when I run courses, I tend to focus on analysis and interpretation of film. Naturalistic film footage of mundane every day events and happenings. The skills I cover include things like how to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. Something else I often talk about is how research is not about answers. It is about rich understanding to allow you yourself to intuitively come up with answers. Research interviews and films (qual or quant) do not hold answers...

  • HI Siamack - I am presenting to graduate students regarding ethnography interviews and participant observation. What would be most important to express in 6 hours? All the students are from different parts of the world. I am Aboriginal, First Nation - Native American. I do come from an aboriginal lens. The course is intercultural communication.
