@frosty1xxx hey frosty - it's not three pickups but two soapbars (Nordy fatstacks) with an ebony ramp in between - it feels great for all the fingertsyle stuff I do - hope that helps

Im digging the bass personally, there are a lot of traditionalists out there who just like basic fender looks and this bass is far from that. I like it though, i love modern looking basses like this. great playing, what wah pedal are you using?

@tbass130 Thanks dude - the problem with this video is that I shot it on my old Mini DV tape video camera and the light has badly affected the colour of this bass - it really does look beautiful in the flesh (so to speak) my more recent videos are all in HIgh Def and you see and hear it a lot better - I know single cuttaway basses aren't for everyone but almost every person I know who has tried my bass has said "I didn't used to like single cuts, until I saw, played and heard this one.."

Beautiful bass...I own a Fodera myself and this is up there for sure.

I'm diggin' your right hand technique and the thumb is awesome on the double stroke.

I kinda felt like you wanted to throw too much out there though...just an observation. I just saw that it looked like your left hand was lagging a bit, sluggish and not much dexterity at the crucial points in nailing every note throughout the slur. Ehhh...but what do I know ;) Still amazing that so many people find this bass "ugly."

@ijazzmunki Not synch, phase. The polarities of the left and right channel audio signals are contrary. (God I feel like a nerd!) If your speakers are at least 3 feet apart, sit between them and slowly sway your head from one side to the other. Then you should notice the weird "out of phase" effect. Kinda messes with your brain!

I'm usually not a fan of single-cutaway basses, but I gotta say, that's one classy lookin' bass, I really dig the coloration too! Really stunning instrument you've got there. Also, is that a ramp between the 2 pickups, or is it actually 3 pickups? Anyways, I've seen some of your other videos and I think your playing's really impressive. I think it's to do with both the percussive technique and the auto-wah/envelope filter.

I play bass and guitar through a bootzilla. Its a decent wah. The fuzz sounds alright as well. I would go with the bootzilla over a crybaby, unless you're more of a niche musician.
