persistence pays off, i restarted uninstalled iTunes,

restarted installed latest iTunes

and it let me restore to 4.3.5

I Have an iPhone 4 32gb - going to wait for official iOS 5 release before i put it on it as it was very buggy and glitchy on my iPhone 3gs 32gb

This Method of activation works perfectly and is by far the best tutorial on youtube for this - in case anyone is wondering, i also got access to icloud.com and all services on there

now i want to restore it to 4.3.X and the problems i have are,

iTunes 10.5b3 has expired

iTunes 10.4.1 displays an error each time i try a restore, even when i have the ispw downloaded and R shift and click to find the ispw on my hdd

anyway i was wondering if i wrote the string back in it would then become the same as the default iOS 5 beta 3 and allow a restore in iTunes
