Where I live the School Bus Drivers will or can get a fine for using the warning lights within city limits! Thats BS!! And no joke at all, I cant make that up.
@drew9932 Im from Springfield, Illinois in the U.S. We have a few light laws that are just as pointless. But also a few good ones. (mostly pointless ones though. lol )
i live in canada and there are people everyday who pass thru the lights in fact just the other day our bus driver put on the waring lights stopped and the red flashing lights came on and stop arm and there was 3 kids passing across the bus when someone desided to pass the bus and almost killed the 3 students. i think this should not just be in u.s but everywhere
I must agree with the guy at 2:07, my district the bus used to line up so they blocked occupied parking spaces, and they had people walk past the buses, and clearly seeing them, and then the backed right into them. They no longer line up like this.
About time I feel that when Lights on our emergency vehicles are updated so should our school buses In fact our school buses should be updated more often then emergency vehicles even here the stop sign has old out dated halogen flashers there is no need for halogen lights these days and age. LED's are the way to go heck our T.V's are going to LED.
I second that logic, now We'll have pepole rear ending the bus going 5 under the speed limit because they think there's a cop ahead, not a school bus.

You could build lights as bright as the sun, and those who don't care about the law will still break it.

We just got buses like that here, I ride one of the first on a full-time route.

That is great idea. All nationwide school buses should have that CSR.
In NYC, car driver NEVER PAY ATTENTION, EVEN THE CITY BUS sometimes.
That technology looks like flashing siren. Maybe this school bus might work in NYC.
