  • Really, anyone with nut allergies shouldnt have nut oil, wow>>>?

  • why do people post so much irrelative shit

  • why is there "GTA 4 Cheats" in related vids?

  • Thank you yanaandbear! It is taught in massage therapy school to place the bolster under the ankles to give the knees the same effect of being slightly bent; which is the proper structural stance.

"Better to remain silent and thought wise than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

  • I guess it must be a cultural difference. In the UK the bolster is considered too big to put under ankles and a rolled hand towel (or similar) is used. The bolster (or rolled bath sheet) is used for under the knees (when lying supine (face up)), and the rolled hand towels can be used again for the ankles if the heels are pronounced.

This may be because we use towels to cover the client - instead of a sheet - and so have them on hand.

  • and dont massage your family's ass either.

  • She certainly sounds qualified tome. She has mentioned information that is taught in massage school. Not all people put the nut allergy 'together' in regard to topical application.

The bolster most certainly goes under the ankle, if you are lying face down... it will relieve pressure on low back. Yes, put it under knees when face up. mmmmm!

  • your so anal, who cares if she pronounced the name of a nut wrong. i guess you being in the nut family gives you an advantage.

  • To some of us, this is a profession. I guess that's why I care about standards and get annoyed when people don't know what they're doing. It's taken a good while to get massage a respected therapy and not some pseudonym for sex. There's a hell of a lot more to massage than just rubbing oil on the skin! But I guess if that's what you're looking for ...

  • To be clear, my comments are aimed at turbocurt, and in no way intended towards Tracey Bell.

  • Ok, well are you a professional massage therapist, or a professional nut. Because your comment said nothing about her technique, but you seamed to bash her on her knowledge of nuts . and I agree with the respected therapy portion of your reply, I myself attend M.T. school.

  • I guess they haven't reached the day (or you were off) about professionalism. There are easier ways of saying you disagree than referring to the other person as a nut!

Further, you'll be able to impress your classmates if American schools don't teach how to pronounce "jojoba" properly.

Furthermore (so you'll know in future) "you're" is short for "you are" and "your" indicates the item/action belongs to you.

Remember, people who see you will think you are typical of others in the profession!

  • As to Tracey's technique, I've seen and commented on only this video. Since you ask:

    - Tracey shouldn't be wearing any jewellery (UK spelling)

    - She should be wearing a uniform but isn't and her choice of personal attire is unsuitable: the cords dangle around the client's head in this clip.

Maybe ITEC standards are just higher: we were marked on this sort of thing.

  • That was harsh...

  • seethemedia,

    No apology necessary!
