Not sure why people have to post bad comments. The person made and programmed the thing and just wanted to put a video of it working on here. He doesn't owe any of you anything. Yes you can turn on a faucet by hand or buy some sort of automatic valve in the store, but the principal is that it is something this person created themselves and I admire the fact that they wanted to show their accomplishment.
This video is all but useless. Anyone knows that an MCU can control valves. You showed that you did it. You didn't show how you did it. A wire from a PC board goes to something that looks like a valve. Water Flows. Give me any PCB and something that looks like a valve and I'll have a video for you in 30 minutes or less.
