The latter would be manual multisampling. It is quite heavy but your app is light (high FPS) as it is, so you might be able to get away with that method. Good luck "color dodge".

The iPad graphics accelerator supports full screen antialiasing and motion blur and such BUT the library API provided by Apple doesn't expose the feature, however you CAN do a few solutions. For instance you can code shaders to simulate the effects OR render to a larger screen and downscale it.

If you are checking this page: Please read my suggestions regarding the addition of a help menu to explain the gestures, and fullscreen motion blur or Gaussian blur for less jagged particles. If you render his in OpenGL 3D then doing the fullscreen blur should be easy. Look into it!

Found the solution, put all 10 fingers on the screen (sucks if you are a cripple with less than ten), then hold one hand static while moving the other hand around. This changes colors and width of the particles. This app needs a help button to explain stuff like the gestures available.

Very relaxing app. It works with ipod playing music in the background, so it doesn't need music. I like how the finger count determines the effect. What I did not like was that 10 fingers switches the lines to blocks and has no way to switch them back. Make it a toggle so each time you release and re-do the 10 finger gesture it cycles shapes. Also it REALLY would benefit from fullscreen motion blur or fullscreen Gaussian, look into that!

Man, you´re a genius! I´m just starting developing in iPhone OS, I got jus a few tutorials and I´m having a lot of work trying to understand all that stuff!
