He said it all - they created a political BRAND, a separate identity -- just like Noam Chomsky contended. So they wanted something traditional -like so they modified Pepsi's logo. And now Obama's identity/brand -- the O -- has replaced the Democratic Party's kick ass donkey. The O which essentially means nothing but is a repository for whatever we want to put into it -- utter manipulation at its best.
@MrDigitalSignage Um...no. If you can't appreciate this video, you're clearly ignorant in the ways of branding and identity design. This was a great explanation behind the thought process behind the logo. It was very interesting to see the other concepts as well

I am not an American but have often wondered how some american became so paranoid and negative towards the world, then I watched fox news and thought... if some people believed this, I can see how a culture of negativity and "us" and "them" can make people feel like life is a battler to win or lose. my sympathy and hope you can see the beauty of life someday!
