Your grammar needs work. The use of "had" as in "had died" is incorrect. Also, there are misspellings throughout....if you are going to make an informational piece, at least proofread your material before posting. It comes across as shoddy and amatuerish.
The 2004 series was too serious. Unlike the original which a lot of elements like the the original Star Trek especially some humor. Also I was very disappointed with Richard Hatch's role in the new series
What I would really like to know is what the heck happened to Tony Swartz? All I've been able to find out is that he did some production work afterwards, but otherwise dropped off the face of the planet as far as BSG is concerned. He was a huge inspiration for me as a child and it's a little crazy that no one seems to know where he is or include him in BSG fan activities.
I would like to see another Battlestar Galatican series not this with Eduard olmos. With those laser sounds. Another series together with the past ones until the next generation from sons and daugthers and so on. What a time, right?
The Actors of the Original 1978 Series Battlestar Galactica were all Cast Unusually well for their Respective Parts. The Show was Fun, Cute,Dramatic,,Adventurous and was just getting off the Ground when it was wrongly Killed by the Executives behind Closed Doors for Legal and Financial Reasons. It was too Good for Regular Televsion of the Time. Whenever something is too Good for the "Average Scene" it gets Pulled. Those who were Hurt and Lost out were the Actors of the Show and us, the Fans.
@Roadracer987654321 The show didn't get cancelled because it was too good (although it was very very good), the show was cancelled because of it's $1,000,000 per epidode price tag. it was the first time a top 20 rated show was cancelled first season.
@lilgiggler35 I Remember Hearing that. I also heard years ago that theer was a Big Lawsuit involving BSG being a Blatant Rip-Off of another Big Franchise. The other party wanted Galactica off the air because they feared it would ruin the Public's Appetite for a Big Sci-Fi Space Opera movie in the next couple of years.
Big Mistake that Original Battlestar Galactica wasn't immediatlely Overhauled and turned into a Successful Theatrical Film Series. Even now it would work.
@lilgiggler35 My understanding is that this really wasn't true. Oh sure, it's what the network claimed, but the theatrical release of "Saga of a Star World" made enough to cover the expenses for the first season. What is truly amazing is how ABC kept moving the show around, finally burying it in the terrible Sunday night timeslot, and it still ended the season in the Top 20. Where might it have finished if they'd left it alone and actually supported it?

I would agree that Season 5 sucked, particularly because there wasn't a Season 5! Season 4 got split due to the Hollywood writer's strike.

The 2004 series was good, it was the 5 seasons after it that sucked!
