I have been looking for this clip for a while. Charlie don't surf and the surf scene are the best parts of AN. Brando is great. But if you surf these are the two scene's to have. I love it!!

yep. I watched it for the first time about 2 years ago. it was around 1 to 3 in the morning in my room with the lights off and man I got sooooo into it, man. such a great film. I'm not a fan of the redux version though. I always wondered what happened next, after wilard got back to nha trang. I wonder if he sorta adopted kurtz's ideas and used them in his new command as a major.

I think that he served out his time and left the Army. I think the hypocrisy of what he witnessed is what led him to say he wasn't in their army anymore. He also remarks how stupid he thinks it is that the Army is calling Kurtz a madman and a murderer in the middle of a brutal war. Like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500, he remarks.
