@TheMightyKawama It didn't finished. Actually, there is a hell of a lot of stuff to make. This is actually a novel. Accelerator still has to go to russia to fix Last Order, etc. (don't wanna spoil xD) So there'll be more, don't worry ^^

@dcj991 Well, it's longer for the first thing, but sometimes it gets a bit tedious in some places because of all the explanations of technology and magic and stuff. You should still read them though, it usually offers more detail in terms of the story.

Ok. Index is awesome. Railgun is awesome. Railgun explains a lot of shit we wouldn't know otherwise. How's that for a summery of the two? Personally I really enjoyed both, but I ended up liking the characters in Railgun more because the main 4 were always the main 4 unlike Index where it jumps about with characters to the point where I wondered if Index herself was just a side character to explain the name of the show. But Index I preferred for story value since it seemed to be going somewhere.

One actually has a plot, and one stays in your little safety zone of the 4 characters.
You realize in the last episodes ichigo lost his shinigami powers to push aizen to his limits, that way special kido could be activated to seal azien.... Which he could of just fought rather then losing his powers using the final move... Kept his powers, and still pushed Aizen to his limits...
Also anyone wanna say why the fuck Aizen is destroyi- scratch that anyone wanna explain to me why Heaven aka soul society is a ghetto? Really?
Aizen go bye bye, timeskip, Ichigo get's tested, Chad gets explained, fuzzy crap happens, Orihime turns her eyes into 3's and Uryu is Yamcha again. Ichigo undergoes epic training, Ichigo get's powers back. I read the manga so I'm a little bit ahead of the Anime which apparently won't even be going into this.
Ichigo had to use the final Getsuga cos Aizen was being a cocky bitch and Ichigo had to prove to the Hogyaku that he wasn't worthy.
alright so i'm about halfway into what you said, but i tend to like... Rarely ever pick up the manga or the anime but when it shows up i read / watch it all.
Anyway i dunno what "orihime turns her eyes into 3's" means... but uhh sounds cool. I'll watch it just to that point then leave.

If you want to imagine things and enjoy the great plot then read an actual book, there is FAR more to imagine, and books for the most part Always have a better plot.
because manga's have pictures the majority of your imagination has already been blocked.
@zoey809 And "formatting" (which you misspelled) would be what exactly? the way the panels are sorted out? that's hardly something to admire since it takes no effort what so ever and a single machine can do every format possible and most manga have the same EXACT format since you read all manga the same.
and again if you spend time afterwards re-imaging the entire story it takes you 3 times as long to get the story out of it, while it takes me less time to obtain and finish n with better quality

@Eritsasaku there are add-ons for most browsers that let you just scroll down as you read manga, loading pages in advance. And I do hope you realize that the very same things that make anime different are the parts you imagine right? I mean the motion and voices, and you can even play bgm along if you want. However, from your flawed explanation I understand that you haven't read manga nearly enough to know that. It's like reading a book: it may seem boring if you don't do it yourself regularly.

I work in psychology, Your brain isn't capable of intaking constant new information from reading, AND doing 3 other things which are a total of 86 processes in your brain all simultaneously. You can't pay enough attention to all of them at once, Not even if you played piano.

I don't do it myself when reading manga (sometimes I do it with books, specially when reading online) but lots of people do. And reading the voices of the characters is a fundamental part of reading fiction you know.. and while motion itself is more restricted than when reading a book, you do "imagine" the flow between panels (but you do it subconciously).

Voices and SFX really are at the same time though.

Have to say this show could be a whole lot better if the characters were not so dumb. Example what is the bad guys who fight Touma problem. If you know his weakness why not use your knowledge to beat him dont just keep doing the same thing over again thinking that it will work. There is no way Accelerator should have lost to Touma either and why is he the only one that is fighting? There are other characters in the show they could save the day besides Touma. One of the worst potential shows ever

well i just saw the first episode of this anime and thought it was pretty cool i was search for anime randomly because i was bored of my usealy naruto bleach and other animes/mangas wich i had ben re watching and decided to choose a anime off a list randomly and it came up with the but hey pretty good anime for the first episode and the opening song is killer i love it :)

Ok. Index is awesome. Railgun is awesome. Railgun explains a lot of shit we wouldn't know otherwise. How's that for a summery of the two? Personally I really enjoyed both, but I ended up liking the characters in Railgun more because the main 4 were always the main 4 unlike Index where it jumps about with characters to the point where I wondered if Index herself was just a side character to explain the name of the show. But Index I preferred for story value since it seemed to be going somewhere.

You realize in the last episodes ichigo lost his shinigami powers to push aizen to his limits, that way special kido could be activated to seal azien.... Which he could of just fought rather then losing his powers using the final move... Kept his powers, and still pushed Aizen to his limits...
Also anyone wanna say why the fuck Aizen is destroyi- scratch that anyone wanna explain to me why Heaven aka soul society is a ghetto? Really?

Aizen go bye bye, timeskip, Ichigo get's tested, Chad gets explained, fuzzy crap happens, Orihime turns her eyes into 3's and Uryu is Yamcha again. Ichigo undergoes epic training, Ichigo get's powers back. I read the manga so I'm a little bit ahead of the Anime which apparently won't even be going into this.
Ichigo had to use the final Getsuga cos Aizen was being a cocky bitch and Ichigo had to prove to the Hogyaku that he wasn't worthy.
Touma could beat him.

The Manga is a non moving image with no sounds no voices and leaves nothing to imagination for it is still all Drawn out for you.
An Anime is a Manga, but with color, sound, actual voice actors which allows for the conveying of emotions far better then text does.
Furthermore with manga I must use the Library, Buy, Or look for it online in which case I must constantly click to turn the page.

@zoey809 all that story and plot is also in the anime, and rather then having to imagine it, it is all right there in front of you.
If you want to imagine things and enjoy the great plot then read an actual book, there is FAR more to imagine, and books for the most part Always have a better plot.
because manga's have pictures the majority of your imagination has already been blocked.

@zoey809 And "formatting" (which you misspelled) would be what exactly? the way the panels are sorted out? that's hardly something to admire since it takes no effort what so ever and a single machine can do every format possible and most manga have the same EXACT format since you read all manga the same.
and again if you spend time afterwards re-imaging the entire story it takes you 3 times as long to get the story out of it, while it takes me less time to obtain and finish n with better quality

@Eritsasaku there are add-ons for most browsers that let you just scroll down as you read manga, loading pages in advance. And I do hope you realize that the very same things that make anime different are the parts you imagine right? I mean the motion and voices, and you can even play bgm along if you want. However, from your flawed explanation I understand that you haven't read manga nearly enough to know that. It's like reading a book: it may seem boring if you don't do it yourself regularly.

I work in psychology, Your brain isn't capable of intaking constant new information from reading, AND doing 3 other things which are a total of 86 processes in your brain all simultaneously. You can't pay enough attention to all of them at once, Not even if you played piano.

I don't do it myself when reading manga (sometimes I do it with books, specially when reading online) but lots of people do. And reading the voices of the characters is a fundamental part of reading fiction you know.. and while motion itself is more restricted than when reading a book, you do "imagine" the flow between panels (but you do it subconciously).

I stated you cannot Read, imagine sound, look at a picture, and imagine animation all at the exact same time.
besides the impossibility of looking at 2 things at once, you cannot process 2 seperate modifications like that, which takes a total of 86 total processes in your brain.

Now, listen here, I said BGM because nothing stops you from playing reading soundtracks (no lyrics, and several rhythms depending on where you are on the story). The voices are rendered as you read them on your mind, almost automatically. And as for the motion, I did say "the flow between panels".

I think you fail to understand the difference between "while you read" and "at the same time you're reading". I don't know if you've noticed it, but it's in the _instant_ pauses in the reading (commas and full stops, bubble and panel changes) that you imagine was going on (in the text and comic, respectively). Voices and SFX really are at the same time though.

while your Forced to use your imagination during the manga, where as I just have an option.
Furthermore imaginative content does not stay in the brain anywhere near as long.

@zoey809 So with Anime It takes me Far less effort to obtain the show, AND it comes with full color, actual sound effects, FULL animations rather then little slides, and I get to actually hear an actors voice conveying the emotions of the phrases giving them far more character.
Far less work Far more quality.
Anime = Better.

Have to say this show could be a whole lot better if the characters were not so dumb. Example what is the bad guys who fight Touma problem. If you know his weakness why not use your knowledge to beat him dont just keep doing the same thing over again thinking that it will work. There is no way Accelerator should have lost to Touma either and why is he the only one that is fighting? There are other characters in the show they could save the day besides Touma. One of the worst potential shows ever
