I have spent so much time there with my geocaching hobby. So sad to see this. I'm not sure I want back in the park for a while. Afraid of what I might see. But on the other hand, I would like to do something to help restore the park if I can. I will be making a donation.
This slideshow made me weep. Bastrop SP has been an integral part of my life for the last 60 years. I will be contributing to help with the restoration.
So, so sad. I have 50 years of memories at my favorite state park. It will never look the same in my lifetime.

@KevisRS I think you will be surprised, it won't be overnight by any stretch, but it will come back and be itself again...Life finds a way!!
