@TheLaw519 The multiplayer is game killingly unbalanced both weapons and classes. after a few games you dont really want to play it agin for a while. the game is dying anyway. there are never more than a few hundred people playing it at a time. its been that way for a while.

I loved this game. While remaining true to the original G1 canon, WFC also manages to bring an awesome, arcade-like gameplay style to the table and an awesome-looking multiplayer. My only complaints are with the constant useage of the same metal colors over and over in the level designs, but this is to go along with canon, and the levels are more than varied enough to ignore this minor gripe, and the occasionally jumpy story that might leave some people a bit confused.

@chrispellis lmao. they're making a 2 so maybe they'll implement something like that. I think that makes it a little more defensive mech style instead of the fluid, fast-paced vehicle to mech using your whole arsenal and map control, timing power-ups, etc. first game that has reminded me of quake. I don't think it'd be any better with a cover system.

for me there's nothing to like in this game: it shows some history like how prime and bee met and how prime got the matrix and how he even became a prime so being a kid and not knowing what the matrix was a bit weird and then the game play is just phenomenal because you get to do something new every time you play especially in multiplayer...

@love4remind Multiplatform games generally have similar graphics on both consoles. It's the exclusives where you see the differences. But graphics alone will never make a good game. Hell, this game could have N64 graphics and I'd buy it. So whichever you prefer.

I strongly disagree with all the good stuff I'm hearing about this game. I think it's quite crap.. The controls when transformed (vehicle) are terrible, the multiplayer is incredibly laggy and lacks host migration, which which destroys the online experience. The singleplayer is quite repetitive and the game is overall incredibly buggy..

i heavily disagree with this review. i grew up with TF and was really thrilled to finally playing it...after finishing the capmain after 7 hours i was disappointed. if war for cybertron would run into the PS2 game made by Melbourne house (subtitled Armada) it would get knocked out on contact. imo wfc is a very shallow experience where i missed a lot of things...like a Prime Megatron fight

@bigdx88 The campaign mode is pretty long but its only worth doing on hard(medium is too easy for me...) the multiplayer is addicting and you can level up 4 different classes adding weapons/abilities, it's a pretty fun game but you may wanna rent it first to see if u like third person

I own a backup copy of Transformers Takara (japanese ps2 only) and that game was closest to having all the original transformers in one game. It had crappy controls and graphics, so War for Cybertron is made of Gawd & Win for fans of the Original series. I'm in my late 20's so if you have money, fucking buy this game already!

you know what I hate? The Wii version of this game. I don't have it, but i know its gameplay. It's a railshooter game. Why couldn't they make the Wii version the same type of gameplay from the X-box, PS3 and PC versions?
