@LoudonGuitar The sound I think you're referring to is the dissonant clash of a major 7th interval - G (12th fret G string) and F# (14th fret top E string)

The original is mixed a little too strongly in there. I might suggest panning the original hard left and your guitar hard right so people can hear what you're playing.
