@ManoliXios there was this guy once who used a marshall/strat combo and blew all the les paul guys away...cant remember...his..name....jimi or sumthin?
@insaneinthebrain1978 hahahahah...that's right!!! but in this one we just made ten louder and let 10 be the top number...but if I do need that extra push over the cliff I use an LPB-1 line booster.
I have one of these too and a pro muso friend of mine rates it better than his Matchless. I do too. It's fabulous. What you don't expect from Marshall is a great clean tone, but it has one - as well as the best overdrive around. I also agree it takes pedals superbly too. The only thing I'd say is that cranked to 10 you need to be on a farm away from neighbours. Just sayin.
FANTASTIC! I've been looking for ages for a bluesbreaker ri to play my les paul traditional through to see if definately want it... and since i saw this i am 100% SOLD on it, im ordering it asap!
AWESOME....WHILE DO YOU HAVE A MARSHALL TUBE AND A GIBSON,I HAVE A SHIT OF TANGLEWOOD LES PAUL AND A LINE 6 SPIDER IV 15 W.....ITS NO FAIR...KKKKKK CONGRATULATIONS....ITS A GREAT SOUND,OPERA FOR MY EARS....ITS A GREAT AMP.
I have the same one, except mine is all Tubes and wired like they were back in the day. I use the thing for metal and it absolutely tears the room apart. Crank the thing up to 10 and you wont need any further distortion
@HearingLossProvider I'm sure Page knew of this amp as Clapton had it made for him by Jim Marshall when he recorded the bluesbreaker album...I'm not sure when Page started to use Marshalls but I think he used a Supra to record the first Zep Album.
@HearingLossProvider Page usually used smaller amplifiers for recording. On the first album he used his Supro. The second album I believe he used a Fender Princeton.
@spitefulload Brother, I get up every day and look at that amp and say to myself I would'nt trade it for anything.
This demo is done dry with just a cord between the guitar and amp....I have been resently buying overdrives, and man this amp takes pedals wicked...the Open road by visual sound is my favorite. I am going to post a vid of it later today.
@ManoliXios I saw that your guitar was straight in and it sounded immense. I used a Peavey Classic for the last 10 years and it was OK, I had no complaints. I replaced it last week with a Traynor YCV80, which was a mistake on the same scale as Pearl Harbor. So today I ordered the Bluesbreaker, on the strength of reviews, but having seen your video, I know I've made the right choice. Not detracting from your playing and your LP which are also great, but the amp spoke to me!!
@Fruscianteistheman I would not try to open that blue cap, as on mine the fuses are on either side of where the power cord plugs in...I'll get back to you with details.
is that thing a reissue?

@MasonBangsDrums this one is all tubes as well. It is a re-issue of the one made in the 60's.

Page should have used one of these on the first Zeppelin album. He wouldn't have needed his fuzz pedal.
