I saw this animal many times in Konya, Türkiye (Turkey) It's so funny that I couldnt help myself laughing at this mouse-like animal. If you see it running (or hopping) you will understand what I say.

after a bit of research, they don't make bad pets! they live about 5 years and need a pretty large cage/terrarium, but are reasonably cheap, friendly and active. They're somewhat nocturnal, so you'll have to entertain/endure them in the evening. you also need to limit their water supply.

I'd love one myself!
