  • i had a vag u/s when i was 6.3weeks after having the abdominal u/s as the heartbeat was not as visible as hoped.. the vag u/s did not hurt but you can sometimes feel a little pressure. it was amazing to see my lil ones heartbeat for the first time, i went for another yesterday at 9.3days & had an abdominal u/s.. was beautiful saw my baby move & heard the heartbeat!!! congratulations to all on your pregnancy's =]

  • person within a person conception

  • all i can say is wow

  • tht doctor is so freakin scary

  • When exactly I could ask my doctor for that?

  • my wife is on antibiotics in her 6th week of been pregnant for a urianary tract infection and im worried that the antibiotics could harm the baby developing all its organs but then again they say if you dont treat the infection it can affect the baby too..any thoughts??

  • @deacks1 i am also on antibiotics for the same reason, you should search the internet for the medicines formula, I DID ANd it gave me peace of mind to know that those antibiotics will NOT harm my baby at all.

This my second pregnancy. In my first pregnancy I also had a urine infection and I was afraid to take pills, so i didnt and by week 11 I misscarriaged my baby. Now Im taking all the pills my doctor gave me, i dont want to take any other chance.

  • I gave this a good rating . Thanks for posting.

Thought: The following scenario can easily occur in our society...

At one end of a facility, the happy pregnant woman is given details about the "image of your developing baby" (0:22- 0:25). She'll probably be given the option to see the ultrasound (like the one @ 0:22) of the "developing baby".

But if later the she decides the same "developing baby" isn't "wanted", the same child will be killed in the "pro-choice" area of the facility.

  • how accurate are vaginal sonograms to determine time of conception?

  • this kind of ultrasound does not hurt. It really is not a big deal. Reading some of these comments tells me there are many immature unmarried mothers out there. Oh, how comforting!... Grow up people.

  • i did not even know at first that transvaginal ultrasounds existed. it kinda hurt when she moved over to the way left searching for my left ovary but other than that it was fine

  • @spacecwby

Actually, it CAN hurt, for example if you have things like ruptured ovarian cysts. Not only do I know from personal experience, I work in Diagnostic Imaging, where we do Transvaginal Ultrasounds. What type of expertise do you have? With the name like "spacecwby" I have a feeling you are male, and in which case I wonder how you'd know it doesn't hurt, you don't have a vagina.

Immaturity has NOTHING to do with marital status. There's plenty of married immature perverts out there.

  • @spacecwby you dont NOT need to be married to have a child!

  • been there and that stuff is uncomfortable.ouch!

  • The Vaginal is used in the early weeks because it has a higher.. well I dont know what it is but its a better quality in the young weeks of pregnancy. Once the baby gets bigger they use the belly one. If it were not for the vaginal one then seeing the baby really early may not be possible. That is what my doctor talked to me about.

  • You know that if you don't like it you don't have to watch it.

  • Ach I kno dat...Am jus sayin...

    : )

  • I have 5 months ta go...

  • they use like a condom when inserting it into the vagina

  • yeah not a whole lot of ppl know about the vaginal sonogram.... if they can use both at week 6 why not give the woman a bit more dignity and comfort and use the abdominal sonogram?? i would be freaked out saying i dont want anything coming in contact with the baby like that, and i would be saying "did that come out of a package?? or was it in someone elses vagina before mine??"

  • lol

  • I would let this doctor stick anything on my Vagina

  • HA HA !!

  • lol it does

  • hahaha, so true.

  • 2nd!

  • First. <3
