Hey im a muslim lady living in a military town in the states and i was nervous when i first moved here but, you find good people and bad people every where...just because its a small town with a lot of white people doesnt mean they are going to be racist....White people aren't the only racist people....I have been called names by people of all colors...

I'll admit, there is some country talkin hillybillys, or watever u wanna call them in Arab.... we have a really good school system here as well.... Arab is a small town, and i know there's not much to do here either, but go to huntsville. but, it is a beatiful place when u come and find them, Arab is my hometown

Arab just has a bad reputation from its attitude from older residents. Things used to be really racist in the 70's against African Americans, but things have changed. We're still mainly White, but our attitudes are no more, and probably less than, racist then the more mixed schools.

Did they actually do their research? The towns name was misspelled by the post office. It was supposed to be, Arad, the name of the founders son.
Arab is a small town, so yes it is predominantly white, but there are other ethnicities. My best friend from high school and her family are Persian!!
I just think there are more important things going on on our country and the world. Why try to get attention by visiting Arab??
