  • Wow. Well done!

  • great video!

  • The "Gospel" outlined in the Bible is the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is video does not contain this........

  • Really? Did you listen to the audio or read the text? The Gospel is clearly presented.

  • 5***** Thank you for posting this. Jesus is Lord!

  • LOVE should be the primary reason that impels us to come to know God, not FEAR of going to Hell. GOD LOVES US SO MUCH.

  • Absolutely, God's love is amazing, but what magnifies the love of God is when we see how much we have sinned, and how much we deserve hell, yet He still loves us enough to provide Christ to save us if one would repent and trust in Him.

  • So Jesus was wrong when he said "fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell" (Matthew 10:28) and the writer of Hebrews was wrong when he said "it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Hebrews 10:31)?

  • Nice stuff guys. It's always fun watching one believer trying to convert another. But I feel the need to ask you one question, as follows:

As an atheist I find that your religious teachings read very much like any other work of fiction. Is is not enough for someone such as myself to simply not do something bad because it's wrong? Do you seriously expect me to think that my primary reason for not doing these things should be the invisible dictator that lives in the sky?

  • Oh, I believe it is quite possible for an atheist or agnostic to live a good life, with a conscience. But it goes being simply "living a good life". True faith recognizes that even the first sin is enough to keep us out of fellowship wit our heavenly Father. We can NEVER be good enough and the point of our faith isn't to BE GOOD, it's to receive the covering of our sin and enjoy FELLOWSHIP with God forever. But it doesn't stop there... (contd)

  • Hey, good point there. =)

  • What is it exactly that gives you or anyone the authority to distinguish what is "wrong" in this world? Is it more comforting to know you are under the control of a "visible" dictatorship?

  • Not human being has the right to determine what is right and wrong. But, the God who made us, since He is the law giver, He can and does make a decision on what is right and what is wrong.

  • I agree with your position Joshua, I was responding to RiskyShinigami's statement of making the assumption that we have the ultimate authority to determine true moral authority. Establishing moral absolutes among men is impossible, we essentially require a judge to determine that (i.e. God), whether we choose to have faith in his existence or not.

  • C. S. Lewis said it well. Paraphrasing: the fact that you believe there is such a thing as wrong testifies that there is a Creator God who has given you a conscience. Read Mere Christianity by CSL.

  • Amen.

I would try to slow the verses down though.

For those who know scripture, the verses are already written on our hearts;however, those who are still lost may have a hard time catching all of them.Just a thought.....

  • I understand, however, to slow the scripture down would mean that it would no longer be a "one minute" gospel. :)

  • Preach on!!!!

  • PREACH IT!!!!!!!

  • Very good video brother Josh! I first saw it on the WOTM radio site. That minute could be the most important minute in someone's life today! Thanks for posting it.

  • This was good and helpful. Thank you!

  • And be repenting until the final second.

"Father, give us a repentant heart all our days and a humbleness to learn your ways"

  • Good one!
