@wickkidda If you understood Jesus' teachings accurately, you would see the most anti-establishment truth that has ever, and ever will....exist. Punk rock has, or, really, had, a plethora of "meanings." One of the most significant was "believe what you want, think how you want, act how you'd like, say what you will, in other words, anything goes. Many great bands had messages of boundary; Bad Brains, Cro-Mags, Minor Threat. If punk rock is about non-subjugation, then Jesus fits perfectly.

"Lust Control" has to be one of the most haggard, quintessentially pathetic attempts at music that I have seen come out of Christian media in years. As a man who has been saved by the blood of Christ, I cannot begin to be ok with bands like this. Its worse than the redundancy of half of our modern worship. It has no substance to it whatsoever.

No substance?? Actually, speaking as a pastor, the substance is pretty deep. From a Punk POV (and I'm not big on Punk), it took a taboo subject and threw it into your face. It forces you to open your eyes and deal with reality. That being said, I still think the song stinks musically. But "qunitessentially pathetic"? Cmon, you're just diving for something that sounds good. Jesus took the Law, opened it up, and threw it in the faces of the masses so that it shocked and stung.
