"Looks like 2009 is going to be another great year for Te Vaka. The performance in the Concert Hall at the Sydney Opera House was a very special night for the band. Not only did family and friends fly over from New Zealand for the concert but also Te Vaka founding member - Sulata Foai-Amiatu, along with Joe and Fresh(Douglas Bernard), came to share the night with us. "

    They are doing well!

  • ola alguien me podria decir cual es el nombre de esa pelicula??? se los agradeceria mushisimo

  • La pelicula se llama The Legend of Johnny Lingo.

  • he said he agrees with everyone bout this song and wants to know where he could get those kids so they could sing at his church choir, kidding ofcourse., then said, may the Lord bless you and all the little ones in this video for their wonderful voices and singing

  • beautiful voices!!!

  • I LOVE TEVAKA!!! the best band... you should perform a concert in US...

  • I am actually trying to see if I can find a venue for them here in the mainland. R U in the Islands or mainland?

  • I am from Papua New Guinea, and the word comes form my native tongue which is the Suau language of the Milne Bay Province. A relative of my was recently in Hawaii over the Christmas holidays and found names of places there that are almost the same in pronunciation with some words in our local dialect.

  • We are ONE big family.

  • Te Vaka has been in the US several times over the last 10yrs..they were last here last year in Hwaii for three shows..been to Seattle, LA and some other places...but mainly perform in Europe and the Eurasians...this song has won many many awards, including this years ISC of the world music category

  • I love this song!! Thanks for sharing
