for those of us who actually served while gay in the military, we know that DADT is simply discrimination towards a minority group. Some units in the military enforce it, and others, like mine, just turn a blind eye. I agree that "love is worth it" may not work. Rather, all gay people need to live forceful and decent lives that show that gay people are a normal part of the human race.

those who stood up against injustice for equal rights and treatment under the law are applauded. let's be clear though, obama straddles the safe spot on the fence and opposes same sex marriage while pledging support to the LGBT community to garner votes & starry-eyed followers.

Dont believe the lie that homosexuality is not a choice. It is nothing more than LUST. Using that line of reasoning and logic I guess pedophilia and necrophilia is not a choice either. And in higher education brain washing in academia is notorious. Without moral values- homosexuals, polygamist, and pedophiles come out of the closet, rather than clean it. Like history shows and repeats itself once again-they cannot survive, and will die out! Abominations and deviancy will never flourish in society that is healthy and robust. If homosexuality and the like become rampant and widespread then like a cancerous tumor that society will die out.

Ancient civilizations that became nefarious died out. Not all values are equal, nor should they ever be given an equal status. An examination of other cultures shows that there are very serious differences. For example, Islamic nations, morals and teaching (Sharia Law) allow for child brides and the rape of ones own wife or wives; and yes polygamy is the standard. Want your 4 wives anyone? Muslim livings in America are minorities. And whose belief and world view is as passionate as anyones.

Leafz, you obviously are completely oblivious to the fact that whether or not we say "gay" out loud, there are, have always been, and will always be gay people in society. It's interesting that you're so afraid that accepting the presence of homosexuality in society as a reality will ultimately bring the end to society. Somehow I don't think that abolishing DADT is suddenly going to cause a majority of people to become gay, rendering us unable to sustain our population. Necrophiliacs, maybe. lol

Homosexuals cry and cry and when they dont get their way. They have no persuasive or convincing arguments. They complain and whimper about Christians or Government forcing or imposing their morality on them. Excuse me, we have laws and everyday lawmakers are establishing laws that govern what you can and cant do. And what laws are not moral? Laws that criminalize sodomy, bestiality, and incest are good ones and have been the bedrock of our civilization and of the entire history of the world.
